Le Chat Botte was the ideal B&B to stay at while visiting North Hatley. The rural setting in this picturesque resort town was restful. Nico was an interesting and accommodating host who provided us with excellent advice on restaurants and sights to visit in the Eastern Townships. Breakfasts were served under a white gazebo on a large verandah. They were... More

We have only words of praise for this wonderful B&B. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very cozy. The living area inviting and warm. The hostess, Nico, is there to assure that your stay is a memorable one. Her breakfasts are out of this world; feels you are eating at a high end restaurant. A wonderful culinary experience. Nico is... More

Question - I wrote a review for Chat Botte - which we loved! However, I was not a member at the time. Does this mean the review was not used? I did receive confirmation that it was "sent". Just curious as to how the process works. My husband and I spent a romantic two days at the Chat Botte. The... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days at the end of July. We had a marvellous stay. Nico was a wonderful hostess and her breakfasts were a culinary highlight of our stay in North Hatley, a gem of a a small town. We were able to go for long, early- morning cycle rides through the scenic countryside, then... More

A lovely B&B with a host who makes your stay exceptional. We stayed in the largest room, the Carabas Suite, and it was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. Nico's breakfasts are some of the best food we had on our trip - other reviewers have pointed out that the meal can take a little over an hour, but... More

The reviews are spot on. This place is what you hope for in a B&B. The three course breakfast was better than any restaurant and the rooms, while small, are cosy and tastefully decorated. My only small issue was breakfast starting so late. By the time you finish 3 courses half the day is gone. If you're there for a... More

As I noted in another of my B & B reviews, the host can make all the difference to a stay, and the first comment I have to make is on Le Chat Botte's friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful host Nicole. She made us feel so welcome and she took a real interest in our comfort and enjoyment of our stay... More

My lover and I stayed in the Marquis bedroom. The room and house are absolutely gorgeous. Decorated in very good taste. I think some of the pictures uploaded here are old because the living room looked much better. The house has 4 outside sitting areas, each one is a marvel. There is also a private beach on the lake and... More

We stayed for two nights at this most charming place. Nico, the hostess, was an absolute delight. She was quick to give amazing suggestions on where to eat and what to do in the surrounding areas. She even lent out her own bikes to us (free of charge) when we discovered there were no bike rentals in the town! Nico's... More

Hidden almost at the end of the river road is a charming house with one of the friendliest most accommodating hosts I can imagine. Not every B&B is prepared to accommodate those who rise and leave early - especially if the breakfast requires serious preparation. Such was the case on our visit. The host apologized profusely for being unable to... More
