We loved our stary at Bennett House. After a warm and friendly welcome by Derek, we got settled in our spacious bedroom and spent a restful night in this charming house. We woke up to a delicious breakfast.

Location: Right on Main Street, easy to find, an easy walk to downtown and the riverfront walking paths. Lots of attractive Victorian homes in the neighborhood Our host, Derek, was pleasant and capable. The room and the premises generally (a smallish Victorian-age house just a few blocks from downtown Woodstock and the waterfront) were absolutely spotlessly clean. The downstairs common...

I was there two years ago - should have reviewed then. It was my first B&B experience, and we stayed two nights in Woodstock. The host was polite, the house was quiet and peaceful. It seemed to be a stop for people traveling on through to other maritime locations. Breakfast was very nice, certainly hit the spot, and this would...

During our six week holiday we stayed in 16 Bed and Breakfast properties but this place set a new low for hospitality. After a long drive we were very tired and arrived at the property at 2.45 pm. Because other properties had a 3.00 pm check in we just parked in the kerb and hoped they would let us in...

We always stay in B&Bs. These hosts were the most unfriendly, smirky and sarcastic when asked questions, ever met in the business. Never have we encountered an establishment where the guests are ORDERED OUT OF THEIR ROOM, and OFF the premises for the day from 10am to 4pm when staying for longer than one night!!! There are no snack, tea...

We rarely respond to any review, even the 90% that give us good reviews. We feel that we do have to respond to this one. In our ten years of operating the B&B, we have never advertised or suggested that snacks, coffee, tea or water were laid out for guests upon arrival. We do however note that you partook of...

We chose Woodstock for convenience and were happy to find Benneths house with its kind Master Kenneth. Our room was spatious, well equipped, the WIFI worked, and the Eggs Benedicts for breakfast in the breakfast parlour were just gorgeous. We did not mind to have the breakfast hour set fix, others may. As it was a very hot day in...

Stayed here one night travelling through New Brunswick. Were greeted with..let me run your card, here are your keys. Asked if we could heat up our leftover pizza and received a frown of disapproval. Grudgingly did this for us. We were interested in the lovely home, but received no answers or elaborations to any comments we made. Chips and mini...

This is a totally impeccable home with very welcoming hosts. We were treated to eggs benedict for breakfast at a beautiful table. All was clean and comfortable, no disappointments here. If you are in Woodstock NB, this is the B & B to choose. Perfect historic home with all amenities.

The owners seem to have forgotten that their function is to serve clients. I had stayed at several B and B's where the hosts were absolutely awesome. Derek made no effort to help me a senior with arthritis to carry my suitcase up the stairs. He stood at the top of the stairs and watched me struggle with my bag....

“Apparently there is a river room. The views of the river in town were really nice.”

“We stayed in Riverview room which is good size, pretty furnishings, (en suite bathroom with? vintage?1940s colors of black, gray, pink! built-ins & semed like it was always that way.) All wood floor was a bit squeeky despite lot of obvious effort to reduce it with multiple nailings. Not a surprise given the age of the home.”

“We stayed in the room at the top of the stairs. It was large, full of light, and quiet. The bathroom was quite large too.”

“The best two rooms are the one at the front of the house, and the one immediately in front of the stairwaym, overlooking the back yard. There is a room at the end of the hall that can fit 3 or 4 people.”
