Stayed in the hotel while attending an event in the same hotel.
The building location is like few others in the country. Overlooking the city, and one of the waterways between Ontario and Quebec. Part of the casino complex, it has many more amenities than your regular “city” hotel.
Common areas are extremely well kept although there were some work happening inside and outside but something you can overlook.
The room that I’ve got was very well designed with two beds, working area, sofa, and a large entryway with a small pantry and the closet.
The bathroom is way bigger than others and with a bathtub and enormous shower. All amenities included.
Internet service is free and very good.
The other services like pool, spa, gym, etc I didn’t use but they look very well kept.
Overall, great value and excellent location.

We stayed one night at the beautiful Hilton Lac Leamy on St-Valentins day.
I think this was my first stay in a Hilton, did many others in the chain, but not the flagship.
I was very impressed by the service and beautiful decor of this hotel.
Gold handles everywhere and marble floors in the bathroom in which had tv speakers so we could listen to the tv. Nice touch.
Magnificent view of the autoroute and LAC LEAMY.
All the nice restaurants were reserved, so we ordered in room service, and the meal was great. It was served on a table on wheels, in which the meal stored in a thermal box to keep everything hot for an hour.
The king bed was very comfortable but those giant pillows arrrgg!
The shower was very big, gold handles but a small shower head and low pressure … why so small for such a huge shower?
All in all, it was great stay.

This trip was everything we wanted and expected it to be and more! The staff were lovely, helpful, and tentative. The building itself was just extreme luxury and class. The room was incredible and that bathroom !!! as well as the pools, sauna etc. And the restaurants were top quality. Note- we stayed on the 18th floor which is part of the Executive rooms and we recommend this to anyone who is staying at Hilton Lac leamy. You get access to a lovely lounge only the top 3 floors have access to and it served 24 hr coffee and water for free and alcohol at a price. They even have dessert until 11pm and an included amazing brunch until 10 or 11am. Just an amazing stay and couldn’t be happier ! Have already recommended it to many friends and family.

I was at the Hilton hotel in a luxury room for my wife’s birthday and our stay was excellent. The room was very large, the bathroom was all marble with a very large shower and golden faucet (very classy). The heated pool and exterior whirlpool was also amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful

The hotel is imposing and the rooms are the nicest amongst the Hiltons I get to stay at.
The views are stunning, regardless which way the room is facing.
However...
Our room on one of the executive floors was marginally cleaned. Look, I am not unreasonable, but someone else's flossing attachment in the shower, a dirty face cloth and dirty room corners are not a sign of exacting standards of cleanliness.
The Conrad lounge one gets to use with the executive rooms is a great place to kick back in peace and quiet. We both enjoyed the warm hors d'oeuvres and the little snacks.
However...
For the price already paid for the room, charging more for a glass of wine or a beer in the lounge than even the overpriced AROMA restaurant charges, is simply asinine.
Look, I don't mind paying for something good, otherwise I wouldn't be here. The nickeling and diming on top of the already stiff price of admission does leave me with a bad taste and distracts from what could otherwise be a really great stay.
AROMA restaurant:
The food taste and quality were excellent, no ifs or buts about it, so was the service.
The menu has shrunk considerably compared to two years ago. The food was very good - but neither "special ", nor "outstanding ".
However, the pricing has moved from "expensive " to "grossly overpriced ".
69 Dollars for a portion of prime rib felt unreasonable. Charging an additional 3 dollars for the customary piece of fresh bread before the meal, while matching the overall theme of getting nickeled and dimed in this hotel, just felt petty and completely out of place.
We enjoy going out for fine dining, but AROMA ended up vastly overpriced for what it was. It takes away from the experience.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. They kindly accommodated our early check in. The room we had booked wasn’t ready so they offered us an upgraded room that was ready for a very small and nominal up charge. Our room was clean, spacious and great view. Stay was not a 5/5 for the simple fact of no housekeeping. Prices are same as what they would be with housekeeping. Masks are not required by guests or staff which for us was great. Rooms service is brought into the room and hotel staff is interacting everywhere else with guests there is ZERO reason why housekeeping should not be back up and servicing guests. We had to call twice to get fresh towels brought up to the room. Wet and dirty towels were left to pile up in our room we paid very good money for.
Things to know - if you want to dine at Arome make reservations. Food was decent. Service was excellent. Pool area was nice. Gym was good. Room service was excellent. Bring your housekeeping back and we would consider going back.

We've stayed at some outstanding Hilton properties around the world and always thought North American standards wouldn't measure up - until we stayed here last week.
Had a fantastic experience, starting with the a lady named Isabelle at the front desk. If management is reading this, she needs to be promoted! She took care of all our needs (getting us a room in a quiet area, booking swimming pool, recommending restaurants, and even arranging for robes to be sent for the kids).
The room was spacious and clean, with the exception one comforter that had a damp smell. I called housekeeping and they sent a new one right away.
The restaurant was fantastic at breakfast. Great service and I used to think bacon and eggs was just bacon and eggs but whatever they did here made it extra delicious and unique.
The property is serene, with trails and ample quiet areas to be found. Caveat: we stayed there during the week, so I presume weekends might be different. Free parking is a bonus but the best part had to be the pools. I usually dread them because even on the hottest days, I find the water way too cold but their pools (indoor and outdoor) were perfect. There are a gazillion restaurant options within a 5 minute drive.
It's the first time since the pandemic started that our whole family felt relaxed and care-free.
Can't wait to go back to this property - just hope they are able to deliver a similar outstanding experience.

My wife & I booked this hotel recently due to wanting to get away for a weekend since we live in Montreal we figured this was a nice drive close to home.
A friend told me about an offer that he received from the hotel & he shared the offer with me, it was very appreciated & we moved ahead with the booking. The deal was great & I just received the promo code which I attached to my booking. Unfortunately I was not eligible for this special which isn't an issue for me. I would have booked the hotel anyway scouting other sites for the best price available or if my company offers a discount for bookings.
My main issue is I booked this 2-3 weeks in advance of the stay & they decided to call me on my way to the hotel around 10:30am to ask for validation of my information & privilege's card only to find out over the phone that I was not eligible for the promotion and we would be charged full price.... What I question is this, why would you contact a customer that close to their check-in to confirm this information & not speak to your guests more in advance (considering how long ago I booked)
That is my main issue, I am being told that I don't qualify that close to checking in and if I didn't have the funds to afford the 400$+ price tag what would the hotel have done? I am in the business of customer service and when things don't go as smooth due to any error, we need to find a way to come to a compromise on both ends, being told this in the car was just such a mismanagement of customer service.
I asked if the can do anything to help compensate, now knowing I don't qualify I will still stay but can they do anything on the cost since the promo was <200$ and the booking for the night was 400$+...their response was "there is nothing we can do" very disappointing.
Aside from that, the staff at the front desk was friendly, they provided an upgraded room (but did that to 2 people in-front of me when i checked in, so I don't think the hotel was that full) so not really a redemption to the discussion i had over the phone.
Room was clean, casino was cool, and I have nothing bad to say about the stay other then my experience on the way there with the booking... oh and if you have an electric car make sure you have a Circuit electrique account or else you need to speak to the front desk and walk to the car with the valet for them to charge it for you.

Very bad hotel, do not recommend. Our first stay in a hotel since Covid. We put the double sidded "do not "disturb" sign on our door plus put the do not disturb light on. We came back from a day out to find our room cleaned and everything moved. I am extremely uncomfortable with the idea that someone was in my room and touched my personal items especially during covid. I travel with my own pillow case due to allergies and that was touched as well as my hair brush, toothbrush etc. The hotel could not confirm if the staff was wearing a mask at the time. I feel so uncomfortable using my own things again knowing a stranger touched them (hence the reason for the do not disturb sign in the first place). I cannot believe that they did not respect our privacy.

From beginning to end, we felt special and that ensuring our stay was perfect was a priority to the Hilton Lac-Leamy team. Warm, welcoming staff. Clean, beautiful room with large shower and deep soaker tub! Relaxing outdoor hot tub and heated pool was perfect after skating on the Rideau canal. A perfect Valentine’s Day getaway! Thanks Hilton... you never disappoint!
