What can I say except excellent. This B & B is very quaint beside a beautiful river. If you can get the room overlooking the Rapids. It's very peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the water. Great common area to relaxing and chat out your day with other guests. Josee provides a great breakfast. She was able to...

We stayed here 2 different days on a return tour of Le P'tit Train du Nord. We also stayed here in 2009 and the place has gotten even better. Small rooms but with a great view and everything you need. Josee is a fantastic host. The sitting room and dining area is great as well. The location is excellent, right...

This BnB has lots of charm and character. It is perfectly located on the bike trail, beside a beautiful river in a very pretty little town. The owner Josee is friendly & helpful - including letting me practice my pitiful French. Her English is excellent. The sitting area just invites you to curl up with a book and glass of...

My wife and I and another couple rode Le Petit Train du Nord route that goes right by this fabulous B&B. Our hostess was open, gracious, informative and warm. The rooms were fine although a wee bit small. yet the falls outside the river side window was soothing for sleep, and after a hot day on the bike, inserting feet...

Tiny quaint inn, right on river with some rooms above rapids. In heart of tiny town. Peaceful, quiet, but in center of adorable little town. Nice rooms, unique lovely public rooms. Good breakfast, helpful hostess.

This is a gem of a B&B, nestled right next to the raging torrent of the river cascade, a short walk from the center of this artist colony town about one hour's drive north of Montreal. Josee is the perfect hostess and a great cook. We stayed two nights, both were quiet and comfortable in an upstairs B&B room. Near...

If you can, try getting the Beethoven room. It has a panoramic view of the river with a private deck. The other rooms were very cozy and quaint but not much of a view or none at all. Josee our hostess/owner was nothing short of fantastic; very attentive, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. And the breakfast she prepares is...

M. Jollie and partner bought this place from a German Canadian who had painted many of the doors and shutters in exquisite German designs. She has kept them up superbly, even the exterior paintings, which she treats twice yearly to preserve them in a nearly original state. The rooms are named after German composers. The whole place is immaculate. The...

M. Jollie is very welcoming, so nice, makes a tasty and healthy breakfast, and gives perfect advice regarding restaurants for dinner. It does not get better! The location is a short walk to the town center, which is very entertaining. Drop by the glass blower. The interior decoration is very classy and unique. Painted doors, painted cast iron tub, skylights,...

We loved this B&B, which was one of our stops on the P'tit Train du Nord. It's right on the trail, and a very short walk from Val-David's charming business district. The exterior is a little precious, making us wonder whether the interior would be fussy, but instead it's warm, well designed, and uncluttered. The room was large and comfortable,...
