We really enjoyed our stay here. They are doing a good job during Covid with contactless check-in and then no housekeeping service unless you request it so nobody is in your room. Our room was clean when we arrived. The view is superb and the room has a nice little patio with chairs that look over the ocean. Our room also had a nice sitting area inside at the window so you can also appreciate the view from inside the room. The room had a fridge, microwave, and a little coffee maker, but no AC. It was a spacious room. The experience here was 5 star the decor is not quite so. It will probably remind you of your grandmas house, but was kind of cute nevertheless. There is a pub across the street and a liquor store next door which was convenient. They provide a random assortment of large bottles of shampoo, moisturizer, body wash etc. Instead of the normal hotel style single use ones or dispensers in the shower. I thought this was a little strange. Overall a nice stay and I would definitely return.

Contactless entry as per their instructions went perfectly well and the greetings envelope left for us with the key and instructions was thoughtful touch. Having a liquor/convenience store next door and the Shady Grill diagonal across the street made things even better. They have an elevator as well as stairs for access to upper floors. A 2-burner stove, bar fridge, coffee maker, microwave and sink were available. All considered, it wasn't expensive.
The room was nice and large and well set up, and the bay window with the armchairs, wine glasses and corkscrew, and the table outside with 2 more chairs to watch the water made me wish we'd booked for more than just 2 nights. The sheets were fresh and clean and the bed very comfortable. We made a point of enjoying the coffee and our sleep was marvelous. This will be a place we will definitely go back to.
The town itself is a 5-minute drive away offers a wonderful Art Gallery and more good eating. And if you want to picnic or eat outside, there is ample beachside greenspace just down the road complete with tables.

We stayed here for one night while visiting family in the area. The location right on the main drag on the oceanfront makes for loud traffic noise during the day but beautiful views. We loved seeing the tide go out and come back in while we were there. The room is comfortable. The table with two chairs is conveniently placed in front of the large window just in case you want to keep your balcony door closed and the traffic noise out. The balcony isn't very private if you have neighbours in the room right next to you so we preferred to stay inside our room. The king size bed and pillows were comfortable and supportive. Wifi was strong and I appreciated the detailed instructions on how to use the Nespresso machine in the room. I would stay here again and would safely recommend to my best friends and family.

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights at the Casa Grande Inn in Qualicum Beach. I wish we had booked more time on Vancouver Island. Casa Grande was the nicest place we stayed at during our 10 day trip to Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

Because of the COVID situation, there was no regular checking in or out. Before arriving I received an email explaining where to find the room key and other information. Since the room was prepaid, we simply had to leave the key in the room at the end of the stay.

The room on the second level was spacious, clean and quiet. I didn't hear any sounds from adjacent rooms. I'm sure the view of the water from the room is very good, however due to the wildfire smoke and fog, visibility was limited. The bed was so comfortable - excellent linens and mattress.

The location is very good. The Shady Rest restaurant is across the street, and you can go for long walks along the waterfront. There was no daily housekeeping due to COVID which was fine with us. The room also had a kitchenette which came in handy.

We stayed during a cool June period. All the rooms look out over the beach towards the Gulf Islands. The view was exceptional from our small patio, a great place to sit and read in the morning sun. With the old highway below, it was sometimes a bit noisy outside but the inside was quiet for sleeping, the noise reduction aided by the absence of air conditioning. Our room was comfortable, small but not cramped. We had an enjoyable stay in the shoulder season but sleep quality would be questionable in the heat of summer.

The hotel is safety conscious at this difficult time. There was no maid service, so nobody else entered out room from the time we arrived until after we left. Checking in and out was contactless and I never did speak to the staff.

We spent 4 nights here recently and were very happy with the accommodations. Our room was very clean, well stocked, bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and efficient and we were left with a list of local attractions and food places nearby to make our stay comfortable. The ocean view was wonderful and if I had any complaint it would be that it is located on a fairly busy road, but it did quiet down after 9 and it was nice and quiet until the morning.

We had top floor room. Spectacular balcony ocean view. Steps away from beach. I was immediately impressed by how fresh and clean the room was!! The room is very well maintained. Great attention to detail, the paint job etc. The furniture is solid and upper end. Not flimsy cheap hotel stuff. We had fireplace in our room. The King size bed was amazing!!!!! With the ocean air flowing in, it was one of the best nights sleep I had.☺️
Friendly front desk staff. Beautiful hanging baskets. I also really liked the onsite parking right next to a exterior elevator and luggage cart, bringing you right up to your room. Really cool.😎

I was stranded in Qualicum beach after a car accident on the highway. The staff made sure I was comfortable and accommodated. They allowed me to extend my stay when I was snowed in and even bumped me up to a room with a jacuzzi - which was greatly appreciated after the car accident.
Thank you so much for helping me out in a rough time!

We wanted to keep out tourist dollars on the island as we live here, so we visited the Casa Grande Inn in Qualicum for two nights. It was amazing, the staff were so friendly and hospitality was great. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean, the bed was comfy and cozy with wonderful linens. The location was good for walking around the beautiful beachfront. I would highly recommend this motel and we will be back.

We had 5 rooms for 10 adults to celebrate a 50th & 80th bday. The hospitality was amazing and rooms were meticulous & very well appointed with quality linens & beds. The view was perfect as shown & close to a cute town.
