Booked Shorewater because we needed accommodation with 3 separate beds. We also requested a unit with views of the beach. That was provided plus we got bonus views the two cute bunnies on the grass in front of our balcony and then beyond that the beautiful beach view. Lovely sunrise. We used the loft bed, the sofa bed and the bed that came out of the wardrobe. We all slept very well. Gas fire was appreciated and plenty of seating in the apartment too. Loved the soft & fluffy towels provided in the bathroom.

We ate out at the German restaurant directly across the road for dinner. So convenient and very tasty.

No complaints with our 2 night stay. Recommend.

Went for 3 day stay.(had to book minimum 3 days) Booked upper suit because needed 3 beds. Has full kitchen and 3 beds. Resort overlooks ocean. Prices are on upper end but went at prime time. Very clean and great staff. Lots of restaurants close by. Must stay and a little quieter than down at beach.

Was in Qualicum Beach for a week and chose Shorewater Resort as my home away from home. Stephanie and Angela were both very welcoming and Angela went out of her way to help me with getting the room I wanted! Great place to stay right on the beach and price was awesome. Thanks again for having me. PS Stephanie, did not lose any keys during my second stay :)

Stayed 2 nights while moving. Upper ocean view. Very comfortable and we'll equipped. The staff is very helpful. The views are
spectacular. The loft bedroom is great, but stairs are part of the deal. The balcony is very nice and a great place to enjoy the panoramic views.

A really nice location and the unit was immaculate and had full kitchen & bathroom. The COVID19 protocols were were fully explained and worked well. Please read my recommendation about a certain unit number.

Great place to stay. Right on the beach. Has rooms for family's with full kit hens. Looks like newly renovation. Stay here every time we go through. Very busy so book in advance. Beautiful views of ocean. Small beach but nice. A few restaurants nearby that you can walk too. Nice a quite except for some kids I daytime but that's actually good to see them play. A must stop in town. A little farther away from main beach were is very busy and noisy.Great job by owner/manager

This place is a bit worn out and in need of a face lift. Having said that, it is quiet, clean and warm, and the staff are friendly. We were there on a rainy, dreary winter's day, but the gas fire and the beach view did much to dispel the gloom. The lower units are one level units, and the upper units have the main bedroom upstairs in a loft. Be aware that if you book an upper unit, you will have to go down a flight of stairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night, unless you decide to sleep in the Murphy wall bed or the sofa bed. If you want to sleep on the same level as the bathroom, get a lower unit. We were on a couples holiday, but these units would be great for a family wanting to be by the beach. A nice thing was that we did not hear any noise at all from the adjacent occupied units. The not so nice thing was that the blanket on our bed was so worn out and overused that I'm not sure it was even fit for donating to a thrift store.

Hello...Thank you taking the time to write your review. We took your input that you provided to us while you were here and ordered new blankets to replace the older styled ones we had in circulation. The old blankets are gone and did indeed go to a homeless shelter. Your input to us is valuable and know that you were heard. We hope that you visit Qualicum Beach again!

We found this charming little hotel in Qualicum right on the sandy beach. The only drawback was when we travelled in March the office closed at 5:30...so don't be late.!
However, they told us in the main season it's office is open til 9:30.
The room we had was very large with a good kitchen. It's right on the beach. When we were there the herring were spawning, so there were thousands of seabirds , eagles and sea lions.

We were guests at the Shorewater Resort September 27th to 29th, 2013. We are most impressed with the cleanliness, the well appointed rooms, the friendly reception staff, none of which we found at our resort in Maui. Qualicum Beach and the Shorewater Resort are tops in our books. We would go there again for sure. You are right on the beach, it is spectacular!

We stopped at Qualicum as it was ca. half way between Victoria and Quadra Island, our next stop. Friends had recommended the Shorewater, and we agreed with their high opinion of the resort. Unlike many of Qualicum's motels, which are across the highway from the strait, the Shorewater is right on the beach, and there was no highway noise, at least in our unit. The room had a great view and was simply furnished but large, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We didn't really take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen but would on another visit. There is no restaurant connected to the resort, but (at the owner's recommendation) we had a fabulous, inexpensive meal at Fish Tales, a quick walk away.

We don't have any pets anymore so I just called them and sorry to say they are pet free. It is a great place to stay though.

There is a very nice big bed in the loft which is quite private and the downstairs area has a murphy bed and a hide-a-bed, the gas fireplace is very nice when you are sitting looking out at the ocean and the kitchen is fully equipped, you can walk the beach for hours and watch for beach glass and..whales. Tell them Jimmer sent you, cheers.
