When we walked in the front door of this Inn we knew that we would love the hotel. The downstairs public rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Our room overlooking the gardens was similar, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was delightful. A true asset of the property was Pamela, our hostess. She was so helpful in planning our day...

Dear TeePee43 Our motto is "welcome to another, less hurried era". We know the world is a chaotic place and we strive to help put it all behind when you enter this property's embrace. Your singing out Pamela couldn't be more on point with us. We think of her more than an asset. She is family and has made so...

Needed a place for an overnight stay, and found Kingsbrae on Tripadvisor. It's a lovely Inn with very good staff. Our room was small, but served its purpose. More importantly, we had an unbelievable dinner in the dining room. The meal was spectacular, it was long, not for those in a hurry, but really made the stay.

Enjoyed a delightful birthday dinner with my family last week. We arrived around 7 and were immediately greeted and presented with the evenings menu and wine suggestions. Our waiters were knowledgable and enthusiastic without pretensions. We took our drinks out to the garden and talked with the other guests. At 7:30 we were led to the dinning room and enjoyed...

Dear Ozen7, All of us are so pleased that we helped you celebrate your birthday with family. We love your comment "without pretensions". So many people think that a place like Kingsbrae Arms might be a bit stuffy. Couldn't be farther from the truth. Relaxed comfort is what we aspire to. Thank you for recognizing that aspect. Beautifully planned exterior and interior. Quality. Antiques. Sophisticated. Pretty back garden. Small and quiet. Main House separate with dining room ( we think ) and a library. Looks like a property from a European Magazine. Abuts the stunning Kingsbrae Gardens and restaurant. Our bathroom was petit. A brochure in the room would be helpful about meals/times, cocktail time ( complimentary?...

We stayed at the Kingsbrae Arms to celebrate our 28th Anniversary. We like luxury and great food and felt this was the place we could get both. The room itself was lovely - spacious, clean and elegant. No complaints there. We were rushed quickly to our room because another guest came to the door, but no big deal. The food...

Dear LikeItIs Thank you for your candid review. I am stunned by your experience and do not ascribe [as owner to owner] to the view that the customer is always wrong. I plan to address your review with my staff to find out what might have gone wrong on the evening of your dinner. Suffice it to say, we didn't...

We had an amazing 2 nights at the Kingsbrae. The room was beautiful, the service impeccable and the dinner outstanding. Two young sommelier students (Louis-Philippe and Antoine) did a great job from greeting us, suggesting wine for our dinner, and waiting on the guests. They went over and above. The Chef made an incredible dinner that every guest loved. The...

The garden and house is a work of art. We enjoyed strolling through the gardens and having a wonderful breakfast out in the gardens also. The rooms were very comfortable and elegant. The area was a quiet place to relax and the town had plenty of shopping and sightseeing.

Our visit to the Canadian Acadia area was terrific, but our stay at the Kingsbrae Arms was magnificient. Frist, the estate is beautifully maintained and the accomodations tastefully decorated. Our 3 room suite was extremely comfortable with all the necessities you could ever want. Breakfast and dinners were suprisingly exceptional. Chef Tierney's dinner menus were not only delicious and the...
