There are no other words to explain the hospitality and the location of this place. We happened upon this one night and did not even think it was hotel. We were so overwhelmed with this place it is our new Hideaway. The staff are so great very happy to be there, will help with anything you have questions on. The... More

We stayed at the Chateau Kimberley for a long weekend so that we could explore the area. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with only 21 rooms. Our room was very clean with what appeared to be new paint. The hotel walls are covered in art from local artists. The art is available for purchase making it almost like... More

Beautiful property, quiet and central. We were on a short motorcycle tour of this region of B.C., and the Chateau was just what we needed. Rooms were spotless, quiet and well appointed. Comfortable bed, coffee and fresh cookies were plentiful at a central coffee nook just around the corner. Wonderful artwork throughout. Hotel also had a small (we were one... More

This is a wonderful, very European, hotel. It is run by a helpful couple who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel is spotless. The room we were in, a king, was large. And also spotless. The bathroom very nicely done. It had a fridge and great TV. Their is also breakfast - cold cereals,... More

The Chateau Kimberley was a very clean, and pleasant place to spend the night in a town that had very little else to offer in the way of accommodation. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Hard working too. The facility had fresh flowers everywhere..........nice touch. Although the rooms were not quiet when it comes to plumbing, as in hearing... More

We enjoyed staying here. Nice and quiet, lovely and clean premises, appealing decor. Our room was very clean and very nice and comfy bed to sleep in with very nice sheets. I like that. Close to a charming pedestrian Main Street, and amenities. Great folks, welcoming and informative.

My visit to the Chateau Kimberley was incredible. The owners were friendly, professional and went to great lengths to make sure my stay was restful and enjoyable. The ambiance is perfect for any artist wishing to get away and recharge the creative batteries. This hotel is also a fully stocked art gallery, which adds a level of comfort and awe... More

We had the opportunity to stay 3 nights at the Chateau Kimberly and in a word - Wonderful! A lovely accommodation in the picturesque Kootenay Valley. The owner, Ted & Val, were warm and professional providing genuine hospitality. The facility is lovely with a wonderful collection of art throughout. Our room was clean, comfortable and modern.
