We stayed for two nights at Turtle Island B&B and enjoyed it immensely. Our room (The Algonquin) was clean, comfortable and quiet. The second floor outdoor deck next to our room was set up nicely for relaxing-- listening to the wind in the trees while enjoying a glass of wine was wonderful. The house is a beautiful century home with...

Had a fantastic time! Small B&B offers only 3 rooms so it is nice and quiet. Our room had its own ensuite, both very clean. Located a short walk from the downtown area and the waterfront. Lovely front porch and balcony areas for some quiet time. Our host Ted made us feel very welcome, was very helpful with directions and...

Six of us rented the whole of Turtle Island B and B for a night. This is the best B and B experience we've ever had. The owners are so friendly and helpful. It is such a lovely clean and unique place. The breakfast was simply outstanding - all homemade and locally sourced. It's like eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant!...

My wife and I stayed here for a night on our way from Quebec City to Toronto. It was a good choice. Reasonably priced, it is situated a short walking distance from the waterside and was convenient for bars, cafes, restaurants and the boat trips round the islands. The house itself is full of character and individuality and we were...

Turtle Island was a great place to unwind and enjoy beautiful Gananoque. Close to restaurants, theatre and the waterfront, this comfortable and well-appointed B and B was just what we needed. Olga's delicious crepes and interesting conversation made us wish we had booked an additional night - next year, we will be back!

we have stay in a few "5" star hotel but none could compare to this; although smaller room, this is the most comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, jams make from the garden; even the simple dish taste wonderful. The breakfast start at 8:30a.m so make your plans after 9:00a.m.

We loved our two night stay (Oct 3 & 4 2014) at Turtle Island! Our bedroom and bath were very, very comfortable, spotless and quiet. We loved the decor of Aboriginal Artwork and found it all so very interesting and unique. The owners were away but we had the pleasure of meeting Adam and Olga and Olga prepared delicious full...

We had the pleasure of staying one night in the Cayuga room which was quiet, clean and comfortable. Both owners were out of town but we were greeted by Adam who got us settled and pointed us in the direction of a wonderful restaurant. Unfortunatly we brought food back to eat later and while there was a fridge there was...

I stayed for a night (Sept. 2014) and had the pleasure of occupying one of the most luxuriously comfortable beds I've ever experienced, in Canada or abroad. The room was quiet, clean and perfectly appointed with velveted high-back chairs poised under warm, antique lamps - perfect for cozy reading. The breakfast was delicious and well presented, starting with a rich...

When we stayed for two nights at the end of August, Chris and Ted's warm welcome and local advice made us feel immediately at home in their lovely 1880's B&B. They have combined delightful period decor with fascinating pieces of First Nations' art. A real highlight is the breakfast, fabulous pancakes, amazing omelettes; these chaps can cook. Gananoque was a...
