Lovely terrace for lunch dining. Excellent service, very good food, a bit pricy, to be expected. totally enjoyable as it was a very nice day. View on the lake (beautiful) and the walkway on the boardwalk well desogned by the city. Bilingual (French and English) Lots of 'grey' hairs around as there are condos next-door...expensive for a view on-the-thirty-mile-long lake....

A bit of a surprise. This hotel is nicely located and the terrace has an excellent view of the lake. Clean, cozy, and quiet make this hotel worth considering. Do take note, to arrive before 2300hrs, as that is the latest you can arrive.

For only $75 Canadian, we had a room in the auberge with a murphy bed, 2 comfortable arm chairs, a desk and sliding doors out to our own terrace with lawn chairs over looking the lake, with direct access to the board walk. Who could ask for more? We enjoyed a long walk in the morning along the lake front...

We were looking for a motel after dark and we saw the sign for here advertising $75 bed room, so we stopped for the night. The cheap room, for this hotel, had a Murphy bed, which was fun! Also it was comfortable though we would have liked extra pillows to sit up in bed with. Our room, we found the...

I went to this hotel a few times now and there is one reason for it: the fabulous view on the lake. Sleeping with the window open in the summer and listening to the waves is the most calming thing. There is also a healthy grocery store with a lot of prepared meals a few minutes from the hotel, which...

Stayed 4 nights and could enjoy the nice view at the lake. The rooms are rather outdated, but workmen were upgrading other rooms during my stay. I used the breakfast at the hotel, very good except you have to order a la carte, there is no buffet. Bathroom clean and big shower! The only disappointment was that there is hardly...

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The hotel was quite nice and isn't claiming be be anything other than a nice hotel. There were only minor problems that in a chain or high end hotel I would complain about but being this is a independent I'll let them pass. Friendly greeting by the receptionist(s) whose English was excellent. HOTEL DESCRIPTION: There seem to be...

Excellent location, the hotel is located right across from the lake, however slightly overpriced. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel could use some upgrades. Our room had a tube TV, which was very awkwardly located. Could not watch TV from the bed or the couch. Reception staff was pleasant to deal with.

Very nice place for a stopover between Toronto and Bar Harbor. Did not have a chance to use spa or other facilities, but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast in the dining room; service was attentive and meals well presented and average in quality and price for a hotel of this quality. If you live...

From our home in northern New Hampshire, Magog is about an hour and a half drive for us, this makes it an ideal spot to visit. We have stayed in this hotel three times, once during the summer months and twice during the winter. We have always reserved rooms with a lake view and a balcony - the staff have...
