It was difficult for me and my driver to find the hotel, since it is actually connected to the Toya Devasya. When we did find it, and pulled up to the front, no one came to greet us, I had to go inside to ask if we were, in fact, at the right place. When the girl at reception was...

When you travel there are always occasions which at the time are a real pain but their value lies in the retelling once you are back home. This is one of those places. We checked 2 other very ordinary (read 'depressing') places when we arrived at Lake Batur on a foggy rainy day. So when we asked to view the...

Do not trust the pictures they share. It is one of the biggest and nicest hotels around Kintamani but the place is a dump. The estate itself is pretty big, but the whole place is being run by 16 year olds. A girl at the front desk and some boys who run around fetching the luggage. Service is not available...

If you would like to have:, zero customer service, and owner who is a criminal and liar, a very noisy power tool construction zone onsite from 7am to 10pm every day of the week and weekend, not be able to eat a meal or have a cup of coffee because the place is over run with flies and many services...

CONS - facilities were in very poor condition. Private pool was filled with algae so couldn't use, doors to villa wouldn't lock, toilet came away from the wall, unhygienic environment, no other guests, food was terrible, cats everywhere, bugs/mosquitos in the room due to gaps in windows and doors. For the price paid, we were ripped off. Very dissatisfied. PROS...

Everything was dirty, the hot tub didn't work, the pool was filled with leaves, one day we didn't have running water in the bathroom, rude and slow service, A/C didn't work and the food was horrible. So not worth anything.

On the immediate surface, the hotel seems quite decent, if not very nice. We are on our honeymoon and will have stayed in a total of 5 hotels during our trip to Indonesia. We have absolutely enjoyed some astounding resorts while on our trip but are not hotel snobs by any means. We stayed in a deluxe villa here and...

Luxury is just the name. Do not expect any luxury service and premices. Our villa was clean but looked dirty. When I read comments dated of several years, nothing has changed! So many flies in the restaurant and the villa, jacuzzi totally out of work... We love food and the restaurant is SO disappointing. Many dishes are not available and...

The Ayu is also the Toya Devasya Natural Hot Spring & Camping Resort. It is same same spread across a large section of lake front with the villas in their own ‘semi’ private area of the resort. It makes no sense why this place (the villas) has not been reviewed on Trip Advisor since 2015. The whole area is under...
