I was so excited to stay at this B&B based on the pictures and reviews and it did not disappoint! Ute and Benoit were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Ute offered suggestions, itineraries, and maps for the day if we wanted suggestions and also brought in more pots/pans/utensils for cooking in case we wanted to make full use of the...

I absolutely loved our stay at Le Prince Noir. The location couldn't be better, on top of beautiful Les Baux, next to the chateau, built into the stone hill. The rooms are wonderful with antique furniture and a large bathroom, breathtaking views from the terrace (especially during sunset, when the daily visitors have left town and Les Baux is quiet...

Our family of four enjoyed every minute of our stay in this superior B&B with its unique location. Ute and Benoit are gracious hosts. They were extremely helpful, providing excellent tips and advice on how to plan our day trips to the many wonderful hilltop towns and villages so accessible from Les Baux. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts of freshly squeezed...

I've never seen anything quite like this B&B. Charming and full of character, built right into the rock. We stayed 4 nights, using it as our home base to explore Provence, and could have stayed longer. Advantages of staying here: an abundance of cafes and restaurants with beautiful views; free parking right outside the village entrance (you can watch tourists...

As a frequent traveler to Europe, I pride myself in trying to find spots a little off the beaten path. Given its daily deluge of tourists, the village of Les Baux is certainly not that, but staying the night at Le Prince Noir I believe does qualify. As echoed by other reviewers this is a most unusual spot. We made...

The owners are lovely people, rooms are located in the best part of the little city and if you don't mind a little climb, you can visit the castle above when it's officialy closed. Breakfast was amazing. Overall felt great staying there and well welcomed by energic owners. Parking wasn't a problem as well.

We visited the Provence region in May 2016 and chose to stay at Le Prince Noir. The B&B is a part of the Chateau and is truly one of a kind. We felt like we were transported to some sort of an utopia. We stayed in La Suite, which has two rooms (bedroom and a salon, with a great view)....

My new wife, and I, chose Le Prince Noir (and Les Baux de Provence) as your Honeymoon home away from home. We spent 3 days just exploring the Baux area then took daily trips to all sorts of great destinations in the Alpilles area, and beyond. Ute and Benoit are the most fun and congenial hosts one could possibly have....

For a truly unique experience, a stay at Le Prince Noir will rate high on the list. Situated high above all other few lodgings in the village of Le Baux, this secluded place is a must. We lodged in the unique and amply spaced Le Suite room, complete with its own tiny balcony and exposed stone wall that was reminiscent...
