We spent the first two nights of our honeymoon here and loved it. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size with a lot of history if a bit dark. The pool area is great too. We ate at the restaurant for lunch which was just fantastic despite the table of obnoxious Americans asking...

After an epic lunch on the property a few days back, my husband and I decided to book spa services. Located in its sister location, which we later found out after showing up at Le Oustau Baumaniere property, at Le Cabro D'Or. The spa is on the smaller side but clean and relaxing. The sensory pool was a highlight for...

I have been privileged to have known the Baumaniere all my life as I was taken there regularly by my parents who lived nearby. My daughters and son-in-law, with tremendous generosity invited me to dine there early July. What a disappointment. The food uninspired, much too expensive and the service lacking. The final insult was to be told that the...

Thank you for your comment, I am sorry you had a different experience that day. I take into account your remarks and I’m sorry the dinner did not meet with your expectations. Concerning the restaurant’s staff, I’m really sorry for their behavior and please apologize if they do not meet with the highest standards. Thank you for your understanding. Jean-André...

Beautiful and handy location in large well kept grounds that offer privacy and comfort, this is an outstanding stopover. Comfortable rooms and excellent service. Ticks all the boxes. Throw in a Michelin starred restaurant that is relaxed and outdoors and offers sensible fare and there is not much more you could ask for

France is a wonderland to be savoured! This great country simply has it all; but, travelling west from the bling of Monaco, past the glittering splendour of the Cote d’Azur and the iconic allure of Peter Mayle’s Luberon - one is dimly aware that there is somehow, somewhere, a secret world that is always just out of reach. That is...

Great for couples. The staff is great, nice, and very helpful. The grounds were very nice, a great pool and fountain / garden area. The rooms, however, were kinda boring. They were a bit small and just like any other luxury hotel. Usually places like this have rooms with character, this did not. The bathroom was great however. Nice, big,...

Glorious setting. But ... Breakfast room is dark and dreary and the breakfast itself was very pedestrian. The two dinners were mixed experience. Some courses were excellent. Some uninspired. Very pricey but not memorable overall. Given the cost, disappointing experience.

We stayed in a room with a "terrace" (garden). The ponds and pools and gardens surrounding it were everything one could imagine. We originally were just going for dinner - then we decided to stay overnight - then we decided to explore the castle near by and stay for lunch on the patio - then - we really needed to...

We actually had been confirmed for a ground floor room with a terrace, but they gave us a second floor room with no terrace. I complained, but they had no rooms to switch us to. They should have done something as an apology. Offered us breakfast, drinks, something. They did nothing and I thought were kind of rude about it....

This inn is located in an incredible part of Southern France, has nice gardens and an excellent spa and restaurant, but the hotel operation is second rate. The rooms are expensive and not worth the price. The interiors and furniture are tired and warn, they are not properly cleaned nor otherwise maintained, and the bath amenities are so meager that...
