This was my second stay at a B&B (my awesome stay on the Sunshine Coast has opened my eyes) and it was great! The house is close in proximity to everything; tourist attractions, shopping, food...work ( in my case) BUT it feels as though you are in a totally different city. The area is extremely quiet. Being so close to...

We were pleasantly surprised to find at Haddon House, better accomodation, food, and congenial environment than we have ever experienced. The hosts are true professionals in the art of providing the right balance of privacy, service, and hospitality. The breakfasts are more properly classified as brunches, with both hot and cold items fresh and top-quality, expertly prepared and presented. We...

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way out to Harrison Hot Springs... one night was definitely not enough! Johannes is a marvelous chef and host - I simply cannot say enough good things about the breakfast. There is a dog, but it is very well-behaved (and pretty low-energy). The bed was super-comfortable, the bathroom spacious and...

My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night getaway at Haddon House and were treated like royalty by Johannes and Marie-Louise! The room was lovely with the right combination of modern refinements and restoration elegance. The breakfast was world class featuring Johannes' culinary skills and impecable European standards. Haddon House is beautiful and in close proximity to walking trails, malls...

I stayed for three nights, and the entire stay was super nice. The accommodations were the best I've ever had (admittedly, I usually never go to fancy places), the food was amazing, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were top notch; well cooked, a variety of things to eat, and lots of it. The rooms were...

We received a gift certificate from my fiancé's mom for a one-night stay. We both were born and raised in Vancouver and felt a little weird staying at a B&B that was just outside of where we live but let me tell you I wish we were staying for a week! The hosts are so welcoming and so accommodating! The...

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Haddon House! What a beautiful home and of course Marie-Louise and Johannes make it special. We arrived too early as we were wanting to get a timely start to our adventures in Vancouver. Marie-Louise and Johannes were extremely accommodating, even though our arrival would have been a very busy time for...

Haddon House is the perfect escape from a busy world. Located in a quiet neighborhood, and close to a lake with peaceful hiking trails you might not know you're in a busy suburb of Vancouver. The house itself is elegantly decorated and comfortable. From the moment you walk through the door, you are made to feel like a returning friend...

Wow! We've stayed at many B&B's over the years, and the Haddon House is by far the BEST experience we've ever had in terms of value, service, amenities, comfort, and attention to detail. Johannes and Marie-Louise have gone the extra mile to ensure high-quality beds/pillows and linens, along with environmentally-friendly bathroom products. Their food selections are nutritious and generous, and...

“We stayed in the room that had the bathtub in the ensuite, and the view overlooked the garden. All the rooms have access to the den on the second floor that has a fridge, and the main floor that has lovely views, a piano, sound system, and chesterfields and lamps for relaxing and reading.”

“They are all great - we were booking at the last minute and took the one room without an ensuite bathroom (full bath was just across the hall), but they upgraded us to the room next door with ensuite when we arrived.”

“I would try to get the suites with the bathroom inside the rooms. I was in the Dearholme suite and the bathroom was down the hall. To make up for this, it was private for my use only and it was beautifully decorated with a glass shower.”
