Lovely large sea view room with direct access to the waterside. So lucky to see a pod of Orcas in the waters directly outside our room. Which stayed for ages. Water bottles supplied in room. The staff were helpful.

We had a lovely one night stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff is very friendly. The pool was closed for our December stay, which would've been nice to know beforehand, but the hot tubs were open. Wonderful ocean view from the main lodge. Our room had a

Painter’s Lodge is our favourite spot to visit in beautiful BC! The food is outstanding, and the chef is always willing to accommodate for our dietary restrictions. They offer the best food in town, with even better staff! We highly recommend Painter’s Lodge to all travelers

When is the cheapest time to go?
Starts March /April usually There have been some dramatic changes to the Resort. But the start of the Season is cheaper as bookings will be low. But sorry to say so will all the other services that go along with a Resort such as Painters. Are you fishing or just coming the Wild West Coast. Could be important as the Charter Fishing at Painters is a bit of a challenge these last .two seasons. The Lodge has been running under new ownership for three years. Still trying to find a way to (Manage) the Resort As I said many changes. And there are a lot of moving parts Take a look.at April Point the Sister Resort on Quadra. Good luck... GH

Is the pool open beginning of June? Is pool heated?
We were just there again May 2018 and the pool was open. There were people in it but I honestly do not know if it is heated.

How many rooms does Painters Lodge have?
Not sure but I think at least 40 if you include the separate buildings. I don't know how many in the lodge building though.

Hi, me and my friend stayed at Painter's Lodge in mid September 2017. We stayed in room 322 and it was wonderful. There was a loft with a bed up there and 2 queen beds on the first floor along with a bathroom, shower, tv, fridge, balcony and the price wasn't any more, if not less than staying at a hotel!! Highly recommend it!
