We enjoyed our stay very much! Sitting on the balcony and taking in the views of the Discovery Passage! Cruise ships went by just before 1:00 AM. The room was very clean. We thought it was very reasonably priced as the view was worth every penny!

We stayed for quite a long time at the motel. The staff were very obliging, but we felt our room needed a complete update. The kitchen was very basic, and the lighting needed looking into, so did the electrics. If you plugged more that one appliance in a double power point it would blow the trip and we would have to...

Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Recommendation for dinner at The Coachman was spot on for us. The room was totally unexpected with newer updates throughout and the view from the balcony and the bed was spectacular. The outside and grounds need attention and the lack of a pathway to the beach was disappointing but we will definitely...

We enjoyed an excellent service overhere and were put in the room in 'the basement'. If you like an oceanview, ask for that room. It's a very good motel. The guy was very helpful and we enjoyed it because it's a good walk to the centre of the village.

We enjoyed our short stay while visiting our Mother in the hospital. At the end of the day it was a nice quite place to unwind and watch the tides of the Discovery Passage. We will stay there again under better circumstances.

Peter Park, charming manager, gave us a newly renowated room with all amendities expected in a motel. Great views across the discovery passage on the balcony and from the bed! Very clean room and friendly staff. Stopped their twice during our holidays on Vancouver Island.

This is an older, well maintained motel with a beautiful view of the ocean. We had a main floor suite with a separate bedroom, large balcony, fridge, hot plate and decent Wi-Fi. They are renovating rooms upstairs right now but we never heard any noise from that. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown and dining. Walk south from...

The room was not fancy, but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. It is very close to the Campbell River Museum and also the Heritage Centre, both of which are must sees. Our balcony overlooked the Discovery Passage between Vancouver Island and Quadra Island. We watched seals and a sea lion swim by...

If you want fancy furniture and granite countertops this is NOT the hotel for you But if you want good value, cleanliness, a great location, and some character then you'll be very happy here. The owners were very friendly and provided assistance immediately when required. I would stay here again.

If your travel style is "value" you can't have everything, but it's great if you have something special. Here it's the view. All rooms have private balconies on a bluff right over the ocean. We saw a bald eagle and otters while eating our breakfast. Room is dated but fine. It's actually a suite with a separate (2nd) bedroom which...
