Everything you could want, a warm bed ,great breakfast and excellent hosts. As discussed with Mark it seems to be in the middle of every ones trip and a welcome break from driving. His tips for dinner and an outing to the free ferry ride were welcome and appreciated.

Marc and Mirja are very friendly and competent hosts. A top quality room with a brilliant breakfast. They supported our bike tour excellently. Taking us to a restaurant, carrying the bikes to our starting point, providing us with the latest informations about our tour, organizing a new bike tour ...... . Dieter &Susann from Germany

We had a lovely stay at the Windborne, and would recommend it to anyone. Marc put together the most elegant breakfasts and made us feel right at home. When we caught a couple of trout for dinner, he and Mirja helped us prepare and grill them, and then joined us for dinner. Best fish I ever ate.

A top quality B&B!! Stayed in the Moonlight Suite which amazing! Ensuite bathroom has jetted tub which is big enough for 2. Shower was "epic" says my husband; the king bed was so comfortable it was a shame to get up. Just knowing Marc had prepared a delicious granola/fruit/yogurt parfait with juice, coffee & toast was enough to draw me...

I just returned from a 4-night stay at Windborne Bed and Breakfast. This was one of several visits over the years to Marc and Mirja's beautiful home and I am always impressed by their hospitality. Outside, are lovely mature gardens that Marc created and maintains regularly. Inside, Mirja's colourful paintings adorn the walls. The bedrooms are inviting with comfortable beds,...
