Beautiful property. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo. Comfortable, clean, good service, lots of amenities and a great restaurant right downstairs (Locals). I’d stay again and recommend. Would love to try the spa next time.

Dear KTandLee, We hope you get a chance to check out Ohspa on your next visit; while all our services are highly rated, definitely consider our Eminence customized facials. Locals Restaurant is a fantastic partner, and their food is among the best on the Island with Chef Ronald at the helm. Thanks so much for this great rating, and I look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Warm regards, David

This is my favourite place to stay in Courtenay. The studio rooms & suites are set up with an apartment feel so you can comfortably have friends over. The friendly staff atmosphere makes this my home away from home and Kelly is an absolute gem!

Dear annejackson73, I am so glad you have found your ideal "home away from home," as this is what we strive to be. The space is definitely a plus as you can extend your own hospitality to your friends or family. Kelly is a gem for sure and really sets the tone for the team at the Old House Hotel. I look forward to welcoming you back soon. Warm regards, David

My husband and I stayed at the Old House for a night so we could get a couple days in at mt. Washington. We chose it because they allow pets, which is great. We have 2 small dogs. There is an additional charge for animals $20 each . It only takes about 30min to get up the

Dear Jennifer S, Thanks so much for your detailed review of your stay with us. We are glad you and your pets enjoyed your stay with us! Locals Restaurant is a great partner of ours; many would enjoy an early breakfast there as well, but lunch and dinner are their focus currently. We will surely pass along your comments to them. We have a few great breakfast places in walking distance, so perhaps you'd like to check them out on your next visit. Do glad you got to enjoy the indoor hot tub and other amenities. I do apologize that you were given the incorrect room; it has surely been a full and busy hotel. Thanks for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards, David

We have stayed at the the hotel twice in the past two years. Once in a two bedroom suite with a fold down couch in the living room. That trip we travelled with my daughter and daughter-in-law with two little ones. It was great. Last summer we stayed for a long weekend in a one bedroom suite. Both suites overlooked the pool and were very nice. The kitchens are well organized and basic cutlery, glassware and dishes supplied. Staff is exceptionally nice and easy to talk to. We have never stayed in the annex. The restaurant is excellent.

Absolutely! They have beautiful one bedroom suites that accommodate dogs. You are allowed up to two dogs and I believe the additional fee is $20. It's a great area for dog-walks. Lots of places to 'water' your dogs in addition to the beautiful dyke that is at your door step.

What are pool hours in April?
I think it is pretty much 10 to 10. They are not at all difficult and most people are respectfully quiet so there is potentially some leniency there. I heard from some that the hot tub (next to pool) is sometimes in use at much earlier times. I would think it dependent in part on room occupancy.
