We were looking for a hotel this weekend in Cranbrook for wheel chair access and I called the hotel 3 times and only got a machine so I left a message but no one returned it. We stopped by to look at the room and the carpets were very soiled and the room was very small and beside the highway...

Nice family run joint with a small breakfast in the morning. Conveniently located, clean room, nice staff. Not sure about value for dollar, but seemed competitive for the area. Lots of restaurant within walking distance.

The Nomad is old school Motel. More a Motor Hotel as you drive up to your fron door. It's a busy place. Rates are okay formwhat you get. We got 2 queen beds and a fairly complete kitchenette with 2 burner stove, full sized fridge and a sink plus it was well stocked with dishes and utensils. This place is...

My husband and I were on a solo trip on our motorcycle. Found this place on trip advisor and was excellent. Close to restaurants. We walked to a restaurant for dinner and walked to a restaurant for breakfast. This motel is affordable and has everything you need, we did two loads of laundry while here as well. Owner is excellent,...

My wife and kids and i were travelling through the kootenays on a camping trip and decided to get a motel in cranbrook. We looked online and found the Nomad and gave them a call. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were travelling with our dog and arrangements were easily made so he could stay with...

The pros are, the wifi works, there's lots of parking, the staff are pleasant, the room is small but adequate, the breakfast is reasonable, the pool is good, the cost is reasonable, there are some reasonable eating places nearby. The cons are, it's very close to the main road and so quite noisy,

We stayed for one night on our way to the states. We really liked it! The people running it are so nice! The room was incredibly clean! The pool was a little on the cold side but that was the only negative for us. There was a lot nearby that we were able to walk to when we wanted a...

Looks kind of shabby, but was clean and comfortable at half the price of others. Because I was flying out before the continental breakfast hours the guy got up and cooked me sausage and hash browns. Not a destination spa by any means but a decent place to stay.

We stopped here with no info since we hadn't researched Cranbrook (no data plan for us in BC). The price was our first surprise, very reasonable. Other great aspects were the kind young man who checked us in,the spacious and clean room, comfortable bed and easy walking distance to several restaurants. The staff even loaned us a coffee maker and...

Reception was very friendly and welcoming. We knew we were booking in to an older motel, but it was well cared for. The bed was clean and comfy. Good continental breakfast. We enjoyed our brief stay and would stop here again if passing through Cranbrook.
