I stayed at the Lazy Bear Lodge on 3 separate occasions this winter. On all occasions, my room was pleasant, clean, and quiet. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was exceptional. I am elderly and on registering, a staff member insisted on going out in the cold to help me carry my luggage from my car to my room....

I've stayed here on two separate occasions in mid-winter. This motel is great value for money. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is central and easy. The room is basic but has everything you need, all in good condition and it is clean and warm. It's certainly not a 5-star hotel but it is excellent for the price....

We stayed one night at this lodge. It is old and dated but very clean and perfect for a good sleep while travelling through BC. The owner was very nice and cheerful. The breakfast was nothing fantastic but it was great to take some fruit and warm toast along with a hot coffee to hit the road with. I would...

Lots of people like this property. Its an older establishment with a pool. We were on the ground floor, lots of traffic noise and the train is right behind. However, this is a sleepy town and its quiet after 11pm. This place has tile floor and not carpet. Newer toilet and sink and big screen tv. The power outlets, if...

Friendly and good value for the price. Has a pool too. Rooms are fine and come with everything you'd expect. Shower needs more pressure but works. Complementary beer for bikers. One note. If you like sleeping in, there can be lots of bikes starting in the morning. If you're sensitive about smoke ask for a room away from the action....

Pleased with the rate. Friendly check in service. Room was clean and is spacious, with a little sitting area, making it easy to entertain visiting friends. Outdoor seating choices, and a great pool area, but too chilly the day we were there to try it. A lot of effort put in to make the outside area attractive with plants and...
