The room was great,
Check in was efficient and a bag breakfast idd so given for the next morning. A lot of hotels have been doing this since Covid.
A few notes for housekeeping and upkeep ( in case management is listening). Otherwise I could see this hotel being removed from Super 8 branding.
1. Get some bleach and a brush and clean the wall tiles in the bathroom. No excuse for what they looked like!
2. Get the air conditioners cleaned and serviced. They barely worked.
3. Remove all the mismatch chairs on the walkways or better yet remove them all. Then you can actually vacuum the walkways.
4. Maintain the stairs.
Other than that our stay was okay!
They are still advertising on their sign “continental breakfast”… which consists of a brown bag with a nutrigrain bar, a muffin and a juice box ( and they didn’t want to part with bags for the kids, I guess they don’t get hungry) I made coffee in the room after you figure out what to unplug because there’s not enough outlets for the amount of things to plug in there. (The last person unplugged the TV, it took forever to reload the guide)
It says on the website they have a hot tub …noooo! I have no idea why that hasn’t been changed?? We booked for that … I guess after seeing how filthy the carpet was, I probably would have been scared to use it! Lastly the tub didn’t have a working plug.
When I complained to Wyndham, I was offered 'points'. What a joke, I'm from another part of the world & don't want to stay in a Wyndham again. I just want the equivalent of the 3 light breakfasts for 2 people that I paid for, refunded.
