Booked here as everything else in Golden was booked up or really pricey! The room was great, Check in was efficient and a bag breakfast idd so given for the next morning. A lot of hotels have been doing this since Covid. A few notes for housekeeping and upkeep ( in case management is listening). Otherwise I could see this hotel being removed from Super 8 branding.
1. Get some bleach and a brush and clean the wall tiles in the bathroom. No excuse for what they looked like! 2. Get the air conditioners cleaned and serviced. They barely worked. 3. Remove all the mismatch chairs on the walkways or better yet remove them all. Then you can actually vacuum the walkways. 4. Maintain the stairs. Other than that our stay was okay!

2 at best…grounds and building are unkempt..debris all over cigarette butt’s everywhere…no ice no hot tub as out of order air conditioning not work and it was 30C outside. Caulking moulding room smelled like old smoke…free breakfast was a brown bag with a fruit cup, granola bar muffin and juice bog. This place has been horribly neglected …poor choice of stay at $175 a night

Room wasn’t cleaned. Garbage on the floor from previous people, sheets weren’t changed. Breakfast is non-existent and the wifi is very glitchy. No check ins from the cleaning crew/front desk about our stay either. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless a last resort. I would sleep in my car first though.

Rooms are good and clean / basic super 8 package / the hotel is on the strip and is a little way from downtown / 10 mins max / some food options close by all fast food / the gym is brilliant for a super 8 kinda hard to imagine / parking is a little tight out front but further out is a larger parking lot suitable for RV's . Has a pool. Overall not a bad deal for Golden ..... prices change dramatically in summer to a point of gouging from the tourist . Tis the season ....

The room was frozen upon arrival. Mildew on bath tiles. Piles of trash on the side of building. The staff was very helpful but that doesn’t make up for freezing room and uncleanliness of the tub. You should pay your staff more so they feel valued and care about certain parts of their job like putting the sheets on inside right. You would be amazing the pride someone takes in their job when they feel valued.

The rooms were large, the bed meh. I liked it was a drive up to the room. They are still advertising on their sign “continental breakfast”… which consists of a brown bag with a nutrigrain bar, a muffin and a juice box ( and they didn’t want to part with bags for the kids, I guess they don’t get hungry) I made coffee in the room after you figure out what to unplug because there’s not enough outlets for the amount of things to plug in there. (The last person unplugged the TV, it took forever to reload the guide) It says on the website they have a hot tub …noooo! I have no idea why that hasn’t been changed?? We booked for that … I guess after seeing how filthy the carpet was, I probably would have been scared to use it! Lastly the tub didn’t have a working plug.

Reception was cold as if we were imposing. Bathrooms were so dirty that we didn't even shower. Complimentary breakfast consisted of a brown paper bag given at check in containing a muffin in a zip lok, a juice box and fruit cup. The microwave in our room was so dirty I didn't even attempt to warm up the muffin. The office was closed from 9pm - 9am which is ridiculous!

Our booking included 'a light breakfast' for 3 days however there was no breakfast & I encountered a very unhelpful response. When I complained to Wyndham, I was offered 'points'. What a joke, I'm from another part of the world & don't want to stay in a Wyndham again. I just want the equivalent of the 3 light breakfasts for 2 people that I paid for, refunded.

I was visiting Banff, Jasper and Yoho National Park in Canada for 1 week and booked at this Super 8 at the minute. This is a total trash motel with health hazards. The motel is filthy dirty. The front desk was closed, so I couldn't get help during my stay. Sink and bath tub were clogged, sheets had stains, coffee maker was filthy and never washed, chairs were covered in layers of dirt and dust, the stairs to my room 211 was loose, the carpet on the stairs and the Corridor/hallway was filthy dirty, window AC never cooled the room. I was also told during check in NOT TO COME TO THE FRONT DESK! I want full refund and want to escalate this complaint all the way to the Super 8 corporation management so that they help take actions to fix all these issues. This motel shouldn't get to keep Super 8 brand. For over 240 CAD, I expect at least a clean room and a bathroom to take shower. I have stayed on another Super 8 and had a pleasant stay during this trip.

Other than our room being more modern and cleaner than expected for a Super 8, the negatives far outweighed the good. Our room was said to offer a coffee machine (did not), a working fridge (the small freezer was almost completely frozen over and the fridge was bare minimuly working), the air conditioning did not work at all and the wifi did not work until the morning, which limited our ability to perform business and work functions. We called the front desk numerous times to ask about the wifi over 3 hours with no answer. When we went to check out, there, again, was no front desk or employee at all.
