As soon as you arrive at Kapristo Lodge you are given a friendly welcome. Its homely and relaxed atmosphere immediately makes you feel completely at home. The huge house looks loved and well lived in which helps to create it's warm ambience. Our room was comfortable with a decent sized bathroom and a full sized bath. The beautiful grounds cover...

My husband and I stayed here while touring the Rockies. We had a perfect stay with super comfortable beds, delicious home-cooked breakfast and spectacular views of the mountains. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and it was fun to meet other people along the journey. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!!

We have traveled through Europe and all over Canada, and this lodge is easily one of our most favourite places we've been, and we will definitely be coming back to the lodge in the future. My husband and I spent four nights at the lodge. We wanted a spot that could be home base in an area close to many...

We loved the home made breakfasts that were served every morning. Everything was made from scratch including the juice. The staff was amazing. From the second we walked in they made us feel like family. It was an amazing vibe. They were so friendly and always provided conversation. They also provided helpful places to eat, and things to see. Just...

Booked due to it's proximity to Northern Lights Wildlife Sanctuary and decided to stay 3 nights based on revues and the fact it was away from the touristy Banff. What a gem! Roswitha treated us like long lost family. Have not used many B&B's but Kapristo is amazingly good in my limited experience.

I do not have a lot of experience with B&B, but this surely has to be the homliest of all. Lovely place to stay, with beautiful surroundings. Great host and hostesses. We were a group of 6 with 2 infants, and the infants had a blast.

Having arrived an hour later than we'd intended (we got the hour time change wrong traveling from Alberta) Rosewitha couldn't have been more welcoming and we really enjoyed our one night here. Sitting on the lovely patio watching the humming birds was stunning (despite the mosquitoes). We really enjoyed talking to fellow guests over breakfast the next morning which was...

We stayed (2 families of 4) 2 nights at the Kapristo lodge. Despite arriving late, around 10.15, our host Roswitha was very welcoming. The rooms were very spacious with huge, comfortable double beds and breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. The property is located about 45minutes from Lake Louise, but the local town Golden is a destination on its own.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at Kapristo Lodge. Very very welcoming host, and fabulous communal breakfast - chance to meet other guests. Special Bear shaped pancakes for the kids was a lovely touch. Do note that this is a Lodge (not a Hotel) so it did feel like staying in someone's home - but that was part of the...

Perfect place to tay. Just outside of town, beautiful surroundings, excellent staff, immaculate cleanliness and delicious food. Will return, its an incomparable value in general but especially when compared to the places in town. Make the short drive and stay here, you wont be disappointed. Wish I could have stayed longer.
