This hostel is fabulous. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. It is very clean and quiet. The kitchen has good food storage (maybe no freezer though?) and lots of dishes and cooking space. I will definitely stay here again. They also have a boot drying room and storage for drying skins and skis, all included. So fabulous.

Golden is a surprisingly very small town, nothing much really happens there, we were 4 girls on a ski trip. I'm personally not a huge fan of hostels but we went and didn't regret it. It was very clean, had an awesome kitchen area for us to cook our diner and breakfast. They are not a party hostel though, so...

Stayed with 2 friends and had a private room. Clean and spacious room. Clear rules and home felling. Open kitchen, big fridge, plenty of space. The Staff is super nice, helpful and make you feel at home at all times.

I stayed 6 nights and wanted to stay longer. The staff were so friendly and accommodating from the moment I walked in the doors, and their dogs were super friendly and chill as well. It's a social place but not a party hostel, everyone's very respectful of each other and it felt more like a home than a hostel. It's...

My friends and I stayed in the 6 room dorm downstairs and had a great stay. We were especially grateful for the quiet time, as we like to get up early and enjoy the outdoors. The staff were so accommodating and lovely to speak to. The location is ideal. The dogs were so calm, I was only sorry they didn't...

one of the friendliest staffs i've encountered in hundreds of hostel/hotel/BnB stays. few, if any complaints. mattress could be better ... i'd prefer if the music quieted down by 9 or 10 rather than 11 or so... cream available for the (free!) coffee... but overall, this is a fantastic stay. highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights, on our main day it was recommended to us that we mountain biked. The owners of the hostel kindly took us up the mountain and even cycled some of the dirt tracks with us to make sure we were OK! They checked up on us when we got back too, a really nice touch from...

I spent one night at the Dreamcatcher last week on my way to Penticton. It's a really special place. Spacious, clean, with lots of chairs and sofas for lounging, a piano and guitars for anyone interested, nice rooms that are close to all the sites of Golden (not the most attractive town, to be sure, but pleasant enough for an...

The owners are wonderful. They will always set my family up for different excursions. This visit we got to paraglide, kayak, Quad up the mountain and bike down a mountain. The food is wonderful and we will go back again and again to visit them and the beautiful mountain scenery. The location is handy for the shops, banks, and bars,...

My husband and I stayed in a private room at the Dreamcatcher hostel for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It's located in a great area with several restaurants and a grocery store nearby and it's easy to get to Yoho and Banff parks by car. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with local suggestions. Our room and...
