We had a good stay here for an overnight on our way to Calgary. We booked an accessible room and really liked the fact that it had a roll-in shower. Breakfast was included -- scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, cereal, toast, yogurt, juice, bananas (but no waffle maker or bagels).
In hearing about other people's stays in Golden, this is probably one of the better choices. We were able to book it on Wyndham points, so that might be an option to investigate, especially during the slow season.

Not the typical Ramada. The hotel looks worn and rundown. The room I was in was a suite with 3 Tvs. Two of the tvs did not work. Broken mirror in bathroom. Informed front desk on both issues. To their credit a maintenance person was sent up right away. Neither he nor his partner could fix the issue with tvs. Would have to get a technician in. Mirror was mentioned and front desk did know of it. Upon checkout asked them to re adjust my bill $20.00 which the front desk person did. Would I stay again, no, many other options.

We were a group of four traveling for pleasure. The family suite that we booked had three beds. Two beds were in their own room within the suite and the third bed was in the common area within the suite. The hotel was very dated. Lighting in bedroom, hallway, and breakfast area was inadequate. The room configuration is great generally for family. The property was quiet and comfortable though! Price was not unreasonable for a family suite with three beds outside Banff but beware of the extra person charge if the party size is greater than two.

The room seemed fairly clean and comfortable. We paid extra for a suite to treat our family on vacation. My husband woke in the night with a bed bug crawling on him. We took a picture and confirmed it’s a bed bug. We now have had to begin disinfecting everything that was on our trip including our family vehicle and 3 car seats. We have yet to hear back from hotel management. (The next day)

The facilty was tidy and clean and though fairly simple, was very functional.
The hotel is in a good location and was easy to find, and we were
close to all the local hangouts in Golden and delightfully close to the national treasures. Best of all-
awesome staff. Cannot stress enough how great the people working there were. Would definitely recommend.

It was stated in the paper that my per night was $116(using my corporate discount) but i was charged differently in the second night. I even asked the front desk if i will be charged $116 for both nights and "she" said yes. The system was down by the time i was checking out she took my email to send the receipt once the system gets going. And when i got the bill in my email i was charged differently on my second night which is over $200.

Our visit to Golden went well but our stay at the Ramada was miserable, the hotel and customer service there was TERRIBLE.
Upon arriving we noted the beds were made but the sheets were dirty and the room needed to be cleaned. The walls and area around the door handles were gross. The rooms were hot and stale, even with the AC running it was still uncomfortable.
On our second night there was a party above us and the noise was unbearable, I tried to call the front desk but the phones didn't work and when I went down to see them in person no one was there. Myself and another gentleman (who had the same complaint) waited nearly 20 minutes but no one showed.
The continental breakfast was barely eatable. Cereal was stale, scrambled eggs were precooked and wrapped in plastic wrap which you had to microwave and with only one microwave there was a huge line up, why not provide 2 or 3??? There was no toast or bagels, why couldn't they employ a local bakery to provide some pastries or muffins instead of the crap they served?
Upon leaving we noted and thought they had charged us double...but as per the rude host this was actually their price. The did not honor the quote we received over the phone and they were adamant they were not budging. Not that I was expecting anything but I thought they might give us a discount for the crappy sleep / excess noise. The rudeness and the lack of ownership really was that bad...

The check-in staff was really rude behavior. He didn’t care about telling us the time of the breakfast or any other amenities available to us It was ridiculous. Nothing to eat there was only a couple muffin and bread nothing else we just left. I wouldn’t recommend to anybody stay away 🙁

It was a pleasure staying in such a clean hotel. This was the cleanest hotel we have stayed at in several years, even with hotels, resorts, etc providing post Covid19 cleaning practices. Absolutely every staff member was friendly & helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

There was a power outage in the area and Ramada had no generator backup. A small hotel across the street was much better with generator backup. Breakfast rooms were empty, only option was bread and some fruit

We do not have a basketball court on site. There are gym facilities in town that are used by locals on certain days.
There is a outdoor basketball court open during summer months
