Clean, simple and economical. A light continental breakfast and coffee to get you put the door. One issue is parking; anyone staying should check with the front desk staff for advice. Overall, I'd say that the hotel is fine for anyone using it primarily to sleep. Not elegant or a place to entertain diplomatic visitors, but sufficient for resting between...

I love this hotel. It's a great deal for the price they give you and the front desk staff was fantastic. The rooms are quaint and the hotel itself is directly downtown with a great diner across the street. If I ever pass through Nelson again, I will definitely stay here.

Good location as it is on the main street through Nelson, Baker Street. Evening walks along Baker are fun, small street cafes are open. The room was okay, clean and quiet. View was nonexistent basically. It is an old hotel done up nicely.

A bit shabby around the edges, but for a low end price you can't beat the location. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There's no parking, so you have to deal with metered street parking. The City of Nelson has a big problem with a lack of parking, so you can't really blame the local...

the room looked pretty drab but oh my what a comfortable bed! It was quiet , clean clean clean and the water pressure was perfect. It looked so plain but hey they sure got the most important things right. The coffee was delish, the muffins lemony poppyseed, the fruit fresh. What a find! PS the front desk staff were fast...

Stayed 3 nights. $84 CDN for a queen bed with bathroom. This hotel is in the heart of downtown, which is the BEST location. Room was well-sized for one person, with small console desk and chair as well as a flat-screen t.v. Bed was VERY comfortable! Air conditioning was a welcome addition during a hot week. Very clean room. Bathroom...

This hotel seems to buck the trend of raping people on the cost of rooms during peak season. At around $98 including taxes and a $10 (reasonable) surcharge for my dog, we got a comfy single queen and private bath. The room is small but very cozy and clean. Front desk staff was super friendly and seemed to genuinely appreciate...

This location is very central and close to the various restaurants on Baker St. We had 2 beds in our room with bathroom. It was clean and bed were comfortable. For breakfast: various muffins, coffee, tea (upon request), apples and bananas. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This was my second time here and again it did not disappoint. Whenever I visit Nelson this hotel is my first choice. It has Smaller rooms, but they are clean and updated with a unique style. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, bathrooms are simple yet have all the amenities and have always been clean. Small flatscreen TV and wifi. Front...
