We went to Nelson to visit our daughter and found the Cloudside to be a great reasonably priced boutique hotel with very friendly and accommodating owners!. We love the 'homey' feel of this beautiful hotel with all of its uniquely decorated bedrooms and attached bathrooms. Also it's so close to the downtown with all of its great shops and interesting...

Dear muffindipper, Thank-you for helping us in our continuing campaign to get TripAdvisor to place us in the correct category. You are right: we are now a small boutique hotel, not a B&B. I am glad that you continue to enjoy your stays with us, especially now that we have upgraded from B&B. And than-you for taking the time to...

Stayed for two nights on my trip around the Rockies. Stayed in a fresh and newly renovated room. Just a three minutes stroll from the main street in charming Nelson. Cloudside Inn have everything you need to enjoy your stay in Nelson, although I was missing breakfast.

Nelson is a charming town, and the Cloudside Inn is perfectly in character - only a block from downtown, efficiently run by live-in owners and their staff who answer all needs. The breakfasts are amazing - better than any restaurant! Rooms are beautifully restored in an old historic pair of homes, with baths either shared or private (typically down the...

A perfect location downtown, professionally run and a charming old building to boot. Two comfortable nights here with memorable breakfasts. Be aware of stairs as it is multi level. Thoroughly recommend particularly as everything worthwhile in Nelson is within walking distance.

In a beautifully renovated historic home, this B & B charms at first sight. A large patio with seating areas and flower boxes greet the visitor on climbing the winding front steps to the entrance. We had the large King 'Willow' Suite on the first floor which had a huge front window looking over the deck, the town, and in...

Stayed here for two nights on a trip around the Rockies. Super spotless B&B, super room and bed [we had the giant suite on the first floor!] and we slept like logs! Very short walk to the main drag in town [4 or 5 minutes walking slow!] so what's not to like? Certainly not breakfast cooked up by Chris -...

Was there July 18, 2016. Nice people, beautiful old home. Cool pics from the travels of Chris and Sally.. shame did not get to meet them! Everything was perfect, very comfortable bed, I had the suite with the en-suite which was nice, although a small room. Would certainly recommend Cloudside Inn to anyone travelling to Nelson, BC.
