We had a great time staying in the suite, clean comfortable and close to town. Will stay again. Beds very comfortable. Great location away from the noise. NIce mountain views too. Private rooms even when sharing with family or friends.

We stayed 2 nights in this very unique motor inn in Nelson. This is a one of a kind stay. It is very quiet, ample parking and other facilities, and very pleasant staff. There is even a friendly resident cat that roams the property. We had two rooms each with a double bed and

My 2 brothers and I decided to stay here during our Powder Highway ski tour. We rented the “kitchen suite” room, with 2 twin rooms plus a separate bedroom. A bit too small for us - would have been nice to have a separate living area instead of having to sit on our beds

Nice place, well kept, on the south end of town on the way to the mountain, fair price. Lots of parking, easy walk to downtown Nelson. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms are large and comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in room. I'd stay there again.

The rooms were clean and properly maintained yet a bit dated. It was clear the management was in the process of updating the rooms and fixtures. The young lady attending to the place was very courteous and helpful. It was a good value and easy walking distance to downtown.

Thank you for your review. Somewhere along the line we must have made a mistake to give you the impression that rooms and fixtures have not been updated yet. But just to clarify, all our rooms have been updated within the last 24 months or so; new flooring, new curtains, new furniture and new kitchens for the rooms that have a kitchen. No exception on this one besides 2 kitchens that we haven't gotten around to replace yet. So if the rooms look a bit dated, then that must be because we chose that look. Not because they are. Thank you for the compliments to our staff, I will pass them on and we love to welcome you again in the future.

Hello Callie, There should be enough parking available that no-one has to park elsewhere besides buses, semi-trucks etc. Parking can get tight sometimes in the summer but there are enough parking spots. Especially in the winter. Don't worry about asking for an updated room as suggested in one of the latest reviews. All rooms are updated to the same extend (June 2016) besides carpets and kitchens. Go to "rooms and rates" on our website and click on the individual room-types. It will show you some photos of that particular room-type. The walk to Baker street is very doable in summer as well as in most winter days. After some fresh snow you might want to consider driving into town or take a cab but I would say that one can walk at least 9 out of 10 times in the winter.
