We’ve driven by this place for years and finally decided to take the time to stop and stay and we are really glad that we did. It’s a family ran older hotel but it’s well looked after and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The buildings shape a U; and in the middle there is a beautiful park with ponds,...

Stayed here just the other night enroute home from Victoria to Calgary. We have driven by a zillion times and thought what the heck, let's stay here tonight instead of our usual Revelstoke or Banff hotel. There was not much choice of rooms so we had a top floor 2level loft style room. If it was renovated, would actually be...

Our first stay at this hotel was fun and relaxing although there were a couple issues that a hotel this size could deal with immediately. Good stuff: This hotel was made with families in mind, our 3 year old had a great time on the beach, the playground, touring the gardens and we all really enjoyed the round house and...

Fabulous setting in the Canadian Rockies. On a lovely calm lake in a mountain valley, could not be a more beautiful and iconic backdrop. The hotel is dated. The rooms need a reno to bring them up to current standards. It's clean with coffee maker, flatscreen TV, but old fixtures, finishes, carpet and drapes. However, the restaurant is another story....

The location of this hotel is outstanding! So beautiful! Stayed there last night for the second time - first time was a year and a half ago. Rooms are pretty simple but clean, bathrooms a good size - no bumping your knees on the door when you turn around:). Each room has a good sized balcony that you can enjoy...

For probably 45+ years we have driven past the Three Valley Lake Chateau & Ghost Town on our way to and from other destinations in British Columbia. So this week we stopped for one night at Three Valley Gap. What a surprise. Reasonable rate for a comfortable, clean room partially overlooking the small lake. No air conditioning because the resort...

Over the years we have gone past this hotel while driving west. Finally decided to give it a try, glad we did. The hotel itself it older and could use some updating, but it was clean and the building and grounds were well taken care of. Scenery with every turn. The staff were great and the check in was smooth....

Rightfully named 3-valley gap resort it is perfectly nestled in the 3-valley gap. The location is picturesque. The hotel exteriors may mislead you into thinking it is historic on the inside too - it is not. Though that would have been wonderful. It is just like any other hotel on the inside - clean and satisfactory. We also had a...

The only reason why I'm not rating this place a 5/5 is because of the restaurants staff alone. Food was mediocre, but the view was pretty. The restaurant has a lot of Windows, it's open and has a great view of the lake. However, I won't start this review off with a negative, because there were so many positives about...
