What a wonderful place to stay in winter. Just far enough out of town without being isolated. Beautifully warm, clean & appointed cabins. Fantastic to even BBQ on the verandah Nothing seemed a problem to the owners. Enjoy an evening sitting around the fire pit, with the snow falling. This place is another of those 'hidden gems'. Thanks

Had the opportunity to stay with other family members in the cabins while attending a family wedding. We booked 4/5 cabins and each and every one was meticulously clean and well stocked with every thing a person could need. The cabins are beautifully handcrafted and spacious. Rustic while providing all the amenities one would need. If there was any downside...

We stayed at the Willow Burl Cabins in August 2015. The cabins are very nice, super-clean, comfortable with great showers! Had we realized they were as well laid out as they are, we might have doubled-up. There are 3 double beds in each and a futon. We stayed only two to a cabin! The cabins are NOT inexpensive. They cost...

We have been annual repeat customers of this wonderful place since 2005 and can't say enough about what an awesome place this really is! The owners Al & Susie Forsyth along with their son Bodie are absolutely some of the finest people you will ever meet. All 5 of the cabins here were built by hand by these folks and...

We had visited one of the cabins almost 10 years ago, and had ever since thought of spending Christmas or New Year once in the future. Every year, we were either trying to book too late, or chose another destination. We made it this year, and booked cabin#1 for 4 nights over Christmas. We arrived the first evening to little...

Recent stay during a snowmobile trip of Blue River/McBride - worth the hour drive - use of heated garage for sled maintenance, dry room for gear, clean cabin with all amenities. We will be sledding McBride/Valemount/Blue River again in January - wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
