We arrived to this wonderful B&B mid afternoon in August and found Twyla relaxing before the evening crowd arrived. She welcomed us in even before our expected arrival time and showed us around the grounds and the house. Once we checked in and brought our luggage to our room, we explored this beautiful restored old house. The floors squeaked, the...

A beautiful home, with all the amenities you could possibly need, and then some. Twyla gave us some great cycling routes, and even escorted us on one of the most breathtaking rides we have ever done. All along the seaside, and included a beautiful stop at a stunning lighthouse. In a lot of older homes, the floors are creaky and...

My husband and I took the Portland/Yarmouth CAT Ferry to and from a recent visit with friends in Kingsburg, NS and stayed at the Guest Lovitt B&B the night of our arrival and night before our departure. What can I say except Twyla Rogers is a superhuman dynamo who keeps a perfect B&B and made our stay wonderful in every...

It was the end of a week long road trip through Nova Scotia and we were taking the ferry to Portland the next morning. When we arrived (2 couples), we were immediately made to feel welcome by the owner. Twyla truly makes your experience at this B&B one to remember. She is a gracious hostess, fabulous cook and her Inn...

A recommendation for dinner was made, very close and just what we needed. We had a nice comfortable sleep and shower was great....

Was looking for a place to stay near the ferry terminal in Yarmouth. The Guest-Lovett House came up in a few different searches and I am so glad that it did. From my 1st phone call w/Twyla to our arrival a few weeks later, the experience was truly exceptional. The inn is very comfortable, breakfast was terrific and Twyla is...

Not sure why I'm writing this review, except to cast my vote with the others. This B & B is exceptional, and their attention to detail knows no limit. The house is immaculate, the food is great and the hospitality second to none. At breakfast a family phoned from the ferry to ask if they'd left their iPad in their...

We stayed here the past two nights while on our road trip around Nova Scotia. We found Lovitt House because the B&B at which we had booked (the Fodors recommended one in town) closed in March, and the owners there referred us to Lovitt. Fodors should rate and recommend Lovitt, because it truly is terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

When in Yarmouth this is the place to stay. Twyla is a fantastic hostess, she makes you feel at home the minute you meet her. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was awesome ( great fruit salad and muffins!).
