My husband and I stayed at the Heidelberg Inn in Collingwood multiple times in the past two years, as it has a great location, a short drive to Wasaga Beach or the Blue Mountain. Although it looks a bit dated at first, the motel has a central location, rooms are clean and spacious, beds are clean and comfortable and rates are best in the area. Owners/ managers are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a good choice for more frequent travellers.

The Heidelberg Inn in Collingwood is the best motel I have ever stayed in! The room rates are excellent and the location is convenient. Best of all, the motel management are professional, caring, and attentive. My entire vacation here was a 10/10!

Just spent the weekend here. It is directly beside the Collingwood Hospital which was the reason for our visit. Audra and her husband are truly lovely people, they couldn't do enough for us. Our family had 5 rooms booked and they were very accommodating. The motel is dated, but the linens are new and the rooms are very clean. Anything you needed they willingly supplied. The rates are great, definitely value for the service. Audra brought ice to our room and noticed that we had wine, she immediately went for a corkscrew and a wine glass, topped off with miniature Mars bars. They don't have a restaurant but there is one just steps away.

I have stayed in some old motels before but none of them made me feel sick. Our room smelled like 60 years of smoke and years of mold. My husband and I eventually developed nausea and headache after 1H. The ceiling and walls showed signs of water damage and I found a dead cockroach next to the toilet. We would have left but it was Elvis weekend and everything else was booked.

We stayed at the Heidelberg Inn this past weekend while we were hiking the Bruce Trail. The beds were extremely comfortable, with beautiful comforters, and the rooms were exceptionally clean with a fridge available to keep lunch snacks cool overnight. The staff was very friendly upon checking us in, and helpful with restaurant recommendations and even phone numbers to call for reservations. One of us forgot our phone after we checked out and I called to inform them and left a voicemail. They called back asking for the number of the cellphone as they had gone to the room and couldn't find it. However after going to the extra effort of asking for the number and calling it they were able to find it and called us back to tell us so we could pick it up later in the day. The room had dated fixtures, and I was a bit worried before going as there are so few reviews online, however the rooms were very clean and we were happy with the choice.

Older hotel which looked like it once was quite THE hotel! The man who checked us in gave us a great recommendation for our dinner and also gave us brochures and ideas for activities near by. OUr room was clean and comfortable, while it was outdated, we didn't care.
