The Somewhere Inn garners accolades for its exceptional service, with staff members earning praise for their warm and attentive approach. Guests are charmed by the inn's cozy ambiance, live music, and tasteful decor, creating a welcoming environment. Although there are mixed feelings about the value, citing the room sizes and varying opinions on the cost of snacks and drinks, the spotless cleanliness throughout is consistently commended. Amenities like the sauna and on-site cafe enhance stays, and the hotel's location near downtown and attractions is popular among guests. The comfortable rooms are well-liked, with a suggestion to add ceiling fans for improved airflow.

Had a great stay with my partner and bulldog. The room was comfortable and it was a nice touch including a food and water bowl for the pup.

I liked how hands off the the staff are. You get a door code before you arrive so you don't have to check-in at reception and unless you ask for it they don't have housekeeping come to your room during the day. So you can come and go as you please without having to worry about getting in the way.

The outdoor area was handy we spent quite a bit of time out there just hanging out under the trees.

The location is also great, with a bunch of cool restaurants within a short walk.

If I had one suggestion it would be that they add ceiling fans to rooms to better distribute the cool air from the A/C as it felt like it was struggling a little at times. It was also a super hot weekend so it may not be a problem most of the time.

Overall had a great stay and would like to return in the fall when it's cooler to do some hiking and see the colours.

Loved our 2-night stay with our dog! The hotel and room were gorgeous; the bedding very comfortable. It always smelled wonderful too and we loved the white noise machine (very thoughtful feature). The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was very convenient and we loved having a cafe in the lobby as well as the 24/7 sauna + cold plunge. We will definitely be back!

The somewhere Inn staff are incredible and very attentive. The location was easy to find and was in a great area of collingwood - accessible to a ton of great restaurant and local activities. They also send you a link with a ton of recommendations, as well as a Spotify link with a playlist for driving up, which was a great touch! The amenities were great - wifi, easy parking, beautiful free standing tub, rain showerhead, sauna, cold plunge, complementary morning nespresso, and so on! When we arrived we were greeted with complimentary drinks and live music on the patio. The staff have communications through a text number and if you need anything all you have to do is text! It was an amazing weekend and I already have a ton of friends and family that are eager to book! Thank you to the Somewhere Inn staff!

What we liked was the friendly and helpful staff and the services they provided. What we did not like was the building itself. The building is not well insulated and our ductless did not work the first night leaving us and our 4 week old baby in the cold. We were moved to another room for the second night and that was about it. No compensation was offered for our discomfort. The rooms and bathrooms are small and lack basic comforts with larger hotels. We paid around $250 a night so given the price it definitely wasn’t worth it. As a real estate developer I can also tell corners and costs were cut when renovating the place.

Such a lovely stay! From the moment we arrived, the team at Somewhere Inn went above and beyond to make our experience special. They were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any requests, making everything feel effortless. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday, and they added thoughtful touches that made it even more memorable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the space beautifully designed, and the overall experience felt both relaxing and luxurious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and personalized getaway!

Pros: The interior design and general vibe of this place is exactly what we were looking for. It had a relaxed and accessible sauna and cold plunge, an on-site coffee and wine/alcohol bar, an outdoor patio and lounge space, ample parking, and the room was cozy and surprisingly quiet as it’s in an old house.

Cons: We were visiting on a Saturday night so we didn’t expect that they closed the bar area at 9 pm. We were really looking forward to using the sauna and then resting by the fire but we had all of 10 minutes before the propane ran out and the (kind) staff at the desk said she couldn’t locate more. That was super disappointing as this was one of the advertised features and really an important part of spending time on the patio at night. Hopefully they’ll make sure to have extra propane because we definitely felt the experienced lacked in a big way without the fire. Another con was the size of the bathroom. Although nicely decorated, it was so tiny and I could really see it being prohibitive for larger people. The sink is so tiny that when I tried to wash my face water dipped on the floor. We couldn’t fill up our water bottles because of the sink design as well.

Overall: A nice trendyish place to stay in downtown Collingwood. Close to lots of great bars and restaurants and even a yoga studio next door. Would stay again.

treated my boyfriend to a birthday trip, it is such an amazing place with amazing staff. Their website and their team does a great job at helping u plan and recommending spots to visit. They even texted us a playlist to listen to on our drive up. Definitely will be back, The attention to detail was very impressive. The girl who checked us in was so warm and welcoming, it was so refreshing to chat with people who are excited about their town and what it has to offer, All the restaurants were just as good if not better than our usual go-to spots in toronto. The sauna and cold plunge was such a nice touch and very well maintained. Also got some smores to enjoy by the fire! Truly couldn’t have gone any better. Thank you guys!!

The best thing about the stay was the friendly, attentive staff. Very comfortable bed. Loved the big towels. My husband did miss having a television. Very clean. The food offer was limited but the location is very close to many restaurants. The salad served there was delicious. Although the sandwich offer was small and needed more meat. The cheese platter was good. We bought a bottle of wine with us. $48 dollars for a bottle of wine a bit steep for us. All in all, I would give it a very good with an excellent for the staff.

The inn is extremely well put together and curated. The bar was an excellent experience to be greeted at to lounge at. We enjoyed the complimentary beer once we had got settled into our room.
The room was very clean, tidy and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows were provided with different firmness. It was also amazing that the room had 2 windows to open, as it did get a bit warm in the middle of the night.
The shower had great pressure, and plenty of hot water. The provided soaps were fantastic!
Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay, and will be back again in the future for another stay. Also, my wife is on the hunt for some of the light fixtures she seen throughout the inn!

As soon as I checked in after a (for me) longish tiring drive, I spied my favorite coffee, Nespresso which I had just started to enjoy when a welcoming text popped up inviting me to the patio bar for a complimentary craft beer which I enjoyed with a perfect mortadello sandwich in the huge backyard under tall shady trees --the perfect post drive recovery. I then climbed into a double width hammock to stare at the trees above to prolong the relaxing experience before heading out to the best swimming spot in town: the north end of Sunset Point Park, a 15 minute walk from the Inn. Later, I soaked in the long, deep tub complete with bath salts before the best sleep of my life in the plush king bed.
