This is a quite new hotel with all the usual features. Everything has been thought of and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is self service and includes all the range to cater for all dietary needs. We stayed in an accessible room and the bathroom was well laid out for level access, including having a well equipped shower with plenty of grab bars and a bench. Holiday Inn knows how to provide for business travellers and tourists. The business facilities include a boardroom and a swimming pool is available.

Booked this hotel for a road trip with my family, but in the end, I couldn't go. But my brother reported that they were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and the comfort of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. One of the guests is celiac and they were really impressed with availability of gluten-free options for breakfast. That made a huge difference.

It was our first time staying at a holiday inn and we were pleasantly surprised. We reserved a room with a king bed on the fourth floor -411. The room was huge with a divider down the middle of the room. The bed on one side with a tv and on the other side is the living room with another tv, pull out couch and chair. Also two windows. It’s a big enough room if you have kids or a dog. Check in was quick and the staff is very friendly. Masks are required. The door key is a scanner. You get a complimentary breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, juice and coffee. The time is 7:00am on weekends. The gym and swimming pool is open but you have to reserve a time slot. Our room had a microwave, coffee maker, fridge, iron and safe. There is plenty of lighting and outlets. The bathroom has a stand up shower with handrails and shelves and sliding glass door. Plenty of towels and a soap, hair conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower. There’s remote control for air conditioning and heater. The bed was comfortable and you get one hard pillow and one soft pillow. It says so in the pillow cases and you get extra pillows in the dresser. There’s a Tim Hortons across from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked a second night but got room 416 with 2 queen beds. A much smaller room. I can’t believe this is a 2 star hotel. I’ve stayed at 3 star hotels that weren’t as nice as this one. I know that the next time I’m on vacation I will look to see if there is a Holiday inn. And I plan on staying at another one in the future.

This property was once again perfect in what anyone should expect from this tier of Hotel.
The check in was fast and friendly with a very friendly night audit gentleman.
The room was spot less and in order. One issue was the thermostat was set to 18.5 (the lowest it would go) but the room could not get lower than 21 degrees. Made it a bit warm given they do not have any windows that open.
I must say I am meticulous on washroom cleanliness and this place was perfect for that. Totally spotless
The breakfast was well done and the service is much more ‘full’ that other IHG properties. I wanted to give a shout out to Shirley in the breakfast area. She is exceptional!
Only complaint about the breakfast is that you are still made to wear silly gloves and once the plate has left, you cannot bring it back in the the breakfast area. Hopefully this covid hysteria starts to wane.
Another reco would be room upgrades for status members as part of the offered member benefit. I confirmed and they had suites available when I checked but was given the standard line that they are ‘sold out ‘. I have platinum in IHG and Marriott. Marriott is about 50/50 for an upgrade while IHG is a very low chance.
Overall and exceptional stay at this property.

Not the fault of the hotel, but adults need to be respectful of the noise and behaviour of children . Woke up at 2am to the sound of adults yakking loudly in the hallway. Walked down to the front desk and complained. Will not return here if adults do not adhere to the policy written all the hotel that quiet time starts at 10pm. Kids running up and down hallways at 11pm. Twenty kids descended in the pool running on the deck and cannonballing into it making it one giant wave pool. The adults sat by the pool and encouraged the behaviour. One the adults remarked to us, “We came for a hockey tournament.” My advice, try to find out if there is a hockey tournament and don’t book here.

Pretty new. The space in our room is very practical, with proper spots for luggage and big coats- I imagine would be great for ski season. Very clean, great design. The hot tub is actually running! The best part is that everyone that works here is really nice- especially the breakfast ladies! Only 5 minutes away from downtown as well, with lots of restaurants to pick from!

As mentioned in some other reviews, the hotel is very new. The location is great too - a couple of minutes drive to all the restaurants and shops, 10 minutes to Blue Mountain and most importantly, just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. The rooms were more spacious than standard hotel rooms and had some nice touches like fridge, microwave and USB ports. Check in process was smooth and hassle free and I must say that the breakfast was very well done. I've stayed at other hotels that have clearly used Covid as an excuse to deliver sub par experiences but they have got it right at this hotel. The ladies working the breakfast counter were excellent. The pool was open but hot tub was closed - but we were told this when I called prior to booking, so that honesty was certainly appreciated. My only minor complaints were that like most other hotels, the room door didn't do a good job of masking hallway noise. I also found the water in the shower to be lukewarm at best. I didn't give the 5 stars for these reasons alone. Overall, a very positive experience and we will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and had good amenities such as microwave,coffee/tea maker and fridge. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The blackout shade wasn't as room darkening as I prefer. Tv is just cable stations. No pay per view movies. No housekeeping due to covid but that was fine. No newspaper due to covid as well. The walls are pretty thin. We could hear the guys in the next room clearly when they were speaking. We were also near the elevators and ice machine which made for extra noise. You need to book the pool for a 45 minute slot and only 12 permitted at a time. Which is fine because it is a fairly small pool. Water temperature of the pool was nice. Breakfast was decent.: scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, oatmeal, cereal, diet yogurt etc. You choose between hot and continental. Nice space to eat breakfast inside or outside. Overall good stay. I'd probably ask to stay near the end of the hall if I returned, due to noise level of elevator.

My daughter & I stayed at this brand new hotel. When we asked how new they were they happily replied day 2! How cool was that! We enjoyed our stay at this hotel located just steps away from downtown Collingwood and about 15 minutes drive to Blue Mountain. Everything was new & clean and spacious & vibrant and just a wonderful stay! The pool was closed 😔 understandably due to COVID. Breakfast is included which is grab & go and provided in brown paper bags. We ate outside because the weather was beautiful. Sept 25-27th 2020 (sorry for late post) Everything is nice and bright so we felt safe coming and going at night from the parking lot. Plenty of parking space! Staff always welcoming & acknowledging every customer. Rooms spacious and quiet. I love big windows! Walk across the street to Tim Hortons! Plenty of seats in lobby area. Will return of course!! 😊

Hi there yes it is open.
I used the pool.
It’s open at 10am and only 8 people at a time
For 40 min
You need to Inform the front desk to sign up and they will give you a pool key card to enter 😊
The pool was warm and awesome!
The Jacuzzi was good too.
I didn’t use the Gym though but I’m sure it is...
Hope this helps you.
