Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must stay if travelling to Collingwood or surrounding areas! This beautiful victorian home boasts it's original features. The entrance is bold and the original staircase captures your eye immediately. The long upstairs hall way is beautiful and captured my heart for this old house. The champagne room was very comfortable with a separate seating area and the option for temperature controlled heating or cooling. There was a television with satellite available and a large jet tub in the room. We had a great sleep and enjoyed our time in the dining room the next morning. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and elegant. The dining room was on point with it's royal blues, wallpaper, original millwork and incredible antique chandelier to which I couldn't take my eyes off of!

Annette is the consummate host who welcomed us with warmth, gratitude, and pride. Her gourmet breakfasts are exceptional in taste and presentation. The Inn is exquisite with attention to detail adorned with a wine theme throughout the home. The central location makes it easy to walk to nearby pubs and bistros and close to fabulous walking/cycling trails. We will definitely stay here again. I am still dreaming of the blueberry/banana pancakes she made for me our first morning!

We had planned our trip on a weekend to the Bacchus House and took their Spa package. When Annette sent the reservation confirmation it has full details on recommendations around the area on where to visit, which time would be the best to explore the spa and any other inside information that would be useful for a tourist. She had taken 30-40 mins of her time over the phone earlier as well to describe all this to us with extreme patience.

Unfortunately right before the trip I fell sick and had contacted Annette. Even though it was last minute, she quickly agreed on rescheduling it for us for the next weekend. However, things got really gloomy the following week due the coronavirus and we debated on going. Hence, we requested Annette to cancel our spa package and offer suggestions on what we could do. She gave us a long list of suggestions from massages to viewing the scenic caves or skiing. As we were exploring these options, things got worse with the virus and we finally decided that we won’t be going. Annette accommodated our request promptly and mentioned that she would be more than happy to host us in the future. I can’t stress enough on how accommodating, kind and warm hospitality that Bacchus House has to offer. I could never stay there but if I ever get a chance to go, I definitely won’t pick another place.

When we walked into the B&B we felt we were back in history. The decor was beautiful, elegant and exquisitely decorated. The room was very clean, comfortable with beautiful decor. The breakfasts were very eye appealing and extremely delicious. Annette is very friendly, very helpful and such a nice person that we felt very much at home. We would call Annette a ‘super host’.
Perfect location to the downtown area. Easy walking distance. We would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely return.

I have had multiple stays at Bacchus House. Every room has incredibly comfortable beds and cozy bedding. Most recently, I stayed in the Pinot Noir suite and had such a comfortable and sound sleep. It was beautifully appointed with toiletries, water, and all the comforts of home. This time I used the hot tub as well. It was terrific. Annette and Andy Lee are incredibly hospitable. Annette makes delicious breakfasts and takes such care to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!!

There are four delightful rooms, all decorated on a Wine theme. A lot of care has been taken in renovations, all fully equipped with every amenity that you could need. The breakfast options include all the high standard choices you can imagine, including extra homemade specials (pumpkin bread). Short blocks from downtown.
We will certainly return, without hesitation.

My husband booked a night at the Bacchus House the first weekend of January 2020. I must say I was extremely impressed. I have never been to a B&B before and Bacchus House has set the bar very high for any future B&B. Annette was very attentive and our breakfast was fabulous. I would highly recommend Bacchus House!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bacchus House for his birthday. Annette is a gracious and accommodating host, the house is beautiful (I especially loved the old school toilet and brass taps in the bathroom) and the breakfast was perfect. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Annette!
