my girlfriend and I attempted to stay there over the weekend of Aug 2 - 3 2014. The first room they gave us was as another review stated that it was likely a weekly rental room (swastika) carved into the wall and stab marks as well among other things. The 2nd room was initially a great improvement (5:30pm) however when...

Room had an a strong stale smoke odor. There was dust on the surfaces of the fir nature and splats on the mirrors. I had to go and buy cleaning supplies. All through the night there we people telling and fighting outside the room for two of the three nights I stayed there. A bad experience over all.

Broken bed, smelly, suspicious caracters checking from different windows what we are doing... We suspect that some rooms are rented by the month to unemployed people. The feeling was not very positive. But yes, inexpensive.

A friend and I stayed here for one night, in room 209. We requested a non-smoking room and were given just that. There was no smell of smoke. Check in was quick and easy, as this is a small place. Is it a 5 star? No. Is it older? Most definitely. Is it clean? It's fine. There was a hair...

This place isn't that bad, depending upon what your looking for. Several reviews I've read have always included some negativity but that's what you'd expect, rooms are clean and if one knew the people who stayed there the night before then you'd have to ask how they manage to clean such space in the time they have, I guess that...

This hotel is cheap and clean, however we booked a non-smoking room and I had to get some air freshener to hide the stench of cigarettes. The pillows, bedspread and curtains smelled. Luckily there was no carpeting in the room (tile and wood flooring). It did not smell musty and the bed and linens were clean. It was also very...

The staff was so kind and helping. I stayed there for three nights, and had very peaceful sleep on all the three nights. The Rooms were very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It has got High speed free internet and parking spaces right outside each room. A lot of restaurants located close to this place and it...

This hotel is not worth the money they charge. The noise from other patrons went on well into the wee hours and then started up again by 7:00am. Not conducive to getting any sleep. The bah tub was gross, but it didn't really matter since I couldn't shower due to the fact there was absolutely NO hot water. Carpet was...

Very bad. Good Price Non-Smoking room smelled of smoke, and the sheets and pillows were not washed properly. At 10:45pm we had a noise issue continuing until 12:30pm when i phone Manager at which time noise issue ceased its University of Waterloo evacuation weekends so I can understand the social aspects but the "value" of this Inn is questionable

“Higher floors give a better view of any approaching danger, and offer 3 staircases to get to ground level if need be. But if you find it unavoidable the drop to the ground level is Minimal at best, make sure you leave with everything you brought as the motel owners/staff always seem to never find what you have lost, even when you know is there, be firm and don't allow yourself to walk away until you have got back your property”
