I took a trip back to my home town to visit some family. I haven't been here in many years now. Such a pretty town! I decided to stay at the Econo Lodge as they are right on the river which sold me right away! When I walked into the lobby it was bright and very inviting! The Manager was...

I was in town for some business. The staff were very helpful in guiding me around town (as it was my first visit so I needed a bit of help on directions to where to go to find a few locations). I noticed when got to the hotel that they are doing some renovations (not noisy though), from what I...

I was just there for a buissness weekend and stayed there for a week. It was not disgusting, it was a pretty deccent. I wouldn't stay there for vacay but if u just want to sleep and do stuff in daylight. Then it is a good hotel

We went motorcycle riding in the area over the weekend and made this our base of operations. Great for short getaways. Rob Roy's pub attached to hotel was great with live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights at 9. After a long day on the bike it was a good place to relax

What can't I say, the back parking lot where you come up to the hotel looks like an industrial park, the lobby was clean, took forever to check in and the WiFi went out after 2 hours of being there, I was told that they called the Guy and left him a message. well it never came back on, I...

Used the Econolodge to run an all day facilitated workshop. Many upgrades. Starting to look wonderful. The hotel was booked solid. Fantastic service from Khan. Always had a smile on his face and ready to help out with anything we needed. Would go there again !

Good: The hotel is downtown, along the canal and the old Combined Locks and an old mill you can visit. Bad: Inside the hotel, the are tourism brochures for every spot, even in New York State, but none for Smiths Falls. Even the guy at the desk had no tourism brochures for Smiths Falls. Good: The hotel is clean, including...

I have stayed here for several conferences from 2000 until 2003. The elevator is slow. the stair wells look like they have not been cleaned at all. the supposed main entrance smells like a pool which is funny because the hotel does NOT have a pool. the only place to apparently eat in the hotel is a bar that usually...

I have been staying in this hotel for approximately 10 years now, maybe once or twice a month, and definitely not by choice (work chose this hotel for us). Honestly, it needs to be levelled and something else built on the location. When the current owners can't even see fit to change out the water damaged ceiling tiles in the...

Stayed on a floor where one half was closed off due to a recent fire, so not a great asthetic. Room was clean but dated, as was bathroom. The view of the canal is really nice, but the balcony doesn't make you want to spend time out there. Bar in the lobby is pricey for where you are. Cheap place...
