This is such a wonderful place to stay. We haven't been for many years, and so pleased we went back. The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed. Carmelo and Annike are the friendliest hosts you could ever meet. The breakfast was delicious, salmon, wild mushroom omelette, and banana bread was our favourite. Thanks so much for making our...

Carmelo and Anneke were gracious hosts. We stayed for two nights and spent most of our time enjoying the town of Canmore and relaxing in the very comfortable accommodations. The log bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby. The breakfast spread was incredible: Anneke made fresh bread each morning (rosemary focaccia the first day and fresh cinnamon buns...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. As mentioned by previous reviewers Carmelo and Anneke are perfect hosts of their lovely accommodation. It is beautifully located in a residential area and less than a 5 minute walk to the main streets of Canmore, which we loved in the evenings, walking for supper. It is evident they love...

All three of the guest rooms have a private bath and are wonderfully furnished with hand-crafted furniture and comfortable beds. Very quiet and has a private entrance. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful - make double sure you try the smoked salmon omelet...

We were so fortunate as to find the listing for the Stella Alpina on the Canmore Bow Valley Bed and Breakfast Association website (http://www.bbcanmore.com) for a last-minute booking. This website clearly indicated availability without having to dig through a bunch of individual B&B websites. We had a fabulous visit at the Stella Alpina in the Flower Room. The room was...

Anneke and Carmelo were great hosts. Breakfasts were varied and included delicious baked items such as croissants, cinnamon buns and banana bread, fresh fruit every day and the most delicious omelette with choices of filling. The room was cosy and spotlessly clean. Carmelo gave us great advice about the local places to spot wildlife including two sets of nesting ospreys...

Anneke & Carmelo are perfect hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable, well experienced in the travel industry, and great cooks. Their smoked salmon (smoked in-house) or wild mushroom (picked locally) omelettes are delicious, as is their homemade focaccia and all the other goodies they generously provide for breakfast. They have put a lot of work into their house and gardens and are proud...
