My son and I stayed at the Paintbox Lodge for three nights, fall of 2016. We had the Wild Suite - two bedrooms and a living space. The suite was lovely, clean, had all the amenities we needed, including good quality toiletries. Breakfast was delicious each morning, a newspaper was available, good coffee. My son loved the muffins! The two...

What can i say that hasnt already been said. This place is so nice, from the moment you walk in the foyer to your bedroom to breakfast, you feel welcomed. The rooms are lovely with all amenities, they even lend you their town bikes and the wifi is superfast. The breakfast is amazing with fresh local produce and homemade food,...

There are lots of great places to stay in Canmore, but few with the great location of the Paintbox Lodge, close to the main street near restaurants and shops. Rooms are comfortable, staff was accommodating and friendly, breakfast was fantastic. We have stayed in Canmore a few times at a few different places but always return to the Paintbox for...

Thank you for your review. The Paintbox Lodge has truly the best location in Canmore. Most hotels are located in between the TransCanada highway and the rail road tracks. We are located one block of main street and provide a car free holiday for folks.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at the Paintbox Lodge and we couldn't be happier with our experience there! The lodge is located in the center of Downtown Canmore and is walking distance from everything - restaurants, bars, shops. The building itself is beautiful - a really great mix of rustic with modern amenities. By far, the best...

Thank you for your review. Our made in house Kombucha is our new addition to our breakfast lineup and guests are loving it! While we still offer "squeeze it yourself" orange juice, we love that our homemade Kombucha is zero waste and local. We promise that our bed in the rooms are queens. Our larger suites have king sized beds.

What a place! This lodge is beautiful and its situation in central Canmore (a minute's walk from all the restaurants and shops) is perfect. I have to mention the breakfasts because they were spectacular and the best we had in Canada. Each morning we had a choice of so many wonderful foods - the sough dough bread (my fave) with...

Visited with two couples in September 2016 for the Canmore Half Marathon weekend. This is an amazing boutique hotel with a perfect location to explore the lovely town of Canmore. The hotel prides itself on supporting local businesses, which is very evident throughout our four-night stay at the lodge. We loved the added touches of welcome chocolates from Le Chocolatier...

From the moment we arrived we were so happy with this little gem. Saschi was such a great hostess, giving us advice on restaurants, what to see, etc. We're so glad we decided to stay in Canmore and not in the overcrowded over-stored Banff. Ifeel we really got to see a true Canadian town with such friendly people. Just hope...

The Paintbox Lodge was incredible. Our room "the Studio" was very cozy, with a nice view of the 3 sister peaks. The bathroom has a luxurious soaker tub and a big shower. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious! We stayed here with our family for 4 nights, they all truly enjoyed their stay. All of the rooms were very clean...

3.5/5 We stayed for one night on our way to Banff and Jasper and loved the downtown location in Canmore - perfect for easy access to the smaller scale restaurants, bars and cute gift shop area and away from the main petrol station, motel and fast food drag that Canadian roadside towns seem to have. The local art concept throughout...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Great efforts were made to sound proof our lodge during it's renovation in 2000. We used 2x6 insulated walls between rooms and the hallways. Each room has solid metal doors. As is often the case with old buildings, unfortunately, we do not have complete soundproofing. With the charm, comes squeaks...

Lovely stay in this wonderful place. Great location, beautiful cosy room. The owners paid a lot of attention to details. We stayed in Banff, lake Louise and jasper but this lodge is far better than anywhere we have stayed. Good breakfast, friendly reception. 10 out of 10. We will be back!
