Overall, everything was good. Especially for the price. I got this hotel for $65 on a Saturday night, which my husband and I thought was very reasonable for a night in the mountains. The room was clean and big, close walk to everything and suited us perfectly fine for a quick overnight getaway.

Hotels in Canmore are usually expensive but this was one of the few with a reasonable price. The location is excellent: just a few blocks away from downtown; 24h convenience store across the street, in the gas station. The clear views to the mountains is a big plus. Rooms were quite simple and apparently haven't been renovated in a while,... More

Hotel was clean, comfortable and a great location, 10 minute walk to restaurants and the shops of Main Street. Staff was ok, a bit disinterested in helping guests. Free coffee in the morning was an added bonus. I would stay here again

Spent our first night of our trip here but arrived late. Facility to call security to check us in but another guest informed us of the key box and was able to open it for us with a security number. May have been easier if they could have quoted our security number and instructions on our confirmation. Anyway room was... More

This place is half a star up from a youth hostel. For $248 I expected a lot more. The room had two beds and a table. For this price, a coffee maker, microwave and fridge should have been included. The girl at evening reception was not welcoming, in fact surly at best. I will not return Judd VanderZalm Edmonton

This is a hotel where you stay if you want to explore the parks but don't care about your hotel. Because it is clean, functional and the rooms are spacious. But there are no amenities such as a coffee machine, fridge or whatsoever in your room. You can get coffee in a small seating area near the reception but that... More

We like this hotel. Stayed 3 nights. Was nice, no breakfast though and no elevator. We stayed in the King Studio Corner Room upstairs. Nice and large with mini frig and microwave. Closet and with iron and board. The room was nice and close to Hwy with mountain view. Would stay again. It is a few blocks away from the... More

Its not the Fairmont but the price is very reasonable for a tourist town. The bed was alright but could be a little more comfy. There's no coffee machine in the room so I had to get up and go down the hall in the morning to get some coffee. Its clean and affordable though and you get what you... More

We found this motel at the last minute going to Banff. It is close enough to Banff so during our stay we could easily go hike in the mountains. The hotel offers a "no service" option which means that there is no maid coming to the room during the stay (not even to refill the coffee machine or clean the... More

Canmore is very close to Banff and is less busy and less expensive than Banff. This hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. The beds were a little hard and the pillows a little flat. It us centrally located in Canmore near the highway. Easy access to the highway. Staff were really helpful!
