We stayed there for a night with my mom, my two kids and us as a couple. We were treated like royalty. Brian was beyond helpful. I thought he only dropped off at airport but he arranged to pick us up from Car Rental agency.
His house is beyond amazing. Our kids love the pool so much, the vine, the garden. Then we had jacuzzi, our first experience ever, my husband loves the brandy. We do not really drink beer or wine and only taste it if it is very special and this brandy is a must try, served right in our room.
And the breakfast by the pool was beyond expectation. The cutlery and the set up were of royal English style. The bakery was so fresh, not so sweet. Normally we do not eat a lot of sweet bakery so this home made freshly baked muffin and croissant were beyond perfect. Linda is an amazing cook.
After breakfast, Brian took us all to the airport in his great car.
We were told he would normally take people to downtown Vancouver for their cruise as well.
We are very blessed and grateful. God bless you and your family and your wonderful business

My sweetheart and I have been to the Stone Hedge twice for a staycation and both experiences were very enjoyable. We stayed in the Royal Suite with access to the jacuzzi tub - which is absolutely perfect for couple looking to indulge in a luxurious and romantic bathing experience together. To follow physical distancing guidelines, Brian and Linda not book other guests inside the house at the same time, so we had the comfort and privacy of having the entire bottom suite to ourselves - what a treat! Their attention to detail is impeccable, from the chocolates on the pillows, to the brandy and fresh rose by the bedside, you can feel the care they put into making their guests feel welcome. Linda is a fantastic cook and our multi-course breakfasts have been outstanding and filled with variety each time. Brian is a friendly host and will be sure to tell you all about his other business venture, Mr. Cooper's Pies (which are delicious, he generously gave us a few pies to take home). Both Brian and Linda follow all COVID guidelines to make everyone feel safe, all while still going above and beyond to offer exquisite hospitality. We look forward to returning!

This was the perfect place to enjoy our visit to Steveston and area. The hosts were most accommodating and generous. We stayed in the Safari room which was very clean and spacious with a private patio area. Everything we might have needed was supplied - they even gave me ice to ice my sore feet. I would highly recommend this B&B as it felt very safe and comfortable especially with COVID concerns. We were served a lovely breakfast each morning on the patio.

This place was awesome! I've been here twice, one time I stayed in the Safari pool house and the other time I stayed in the room with the queen size bed with access to the jacuzzi bathroom. My favorite was staying in the room that has access to the jacuzzi bathroom. My favorite things about this place were the following: hospitality of the couple who run the B&B, relaxing bubble bath in jacuzzi tub, orange brandy in the room, swimming in the pool, relaxing spa music playing while I ate breakfast, the taste and uniqueness of the breakfast, how special I felt. This was the highest quality hotel/motel/B&B experience I've ever had. No other place will make you feel the way you'll feel when you're at the stone hedge. I'm a traveler, so I would know.

It was great to be both picked up at the airport and dropped back there on our departure. Brian was a very friendly, generous host who was most knowledgeable about the area.

We were served a delicious, elegantly presented four course breakfast, with homemade jams included. Being a coeliac, I appreciated the availability of gluten free cereals, breads and buns.

It was just like home being in the rooms and the hosts had thought of everything. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and other drinks for our use. Snacks, chocolates and even brandy were there for us.
Everything was very clean.

It is only a short walk (two blocks) to the bus stop. The charming historic fishing village of Steveston is only a short trip away and the buses run every fifteen minutes.

We totally recommend this excellent B and B.

Brian very kindly picked us up at the airport despite some flight delays and on the way to the B&B provided interesting info as well as where to go to eat. Breakfast is as others have said...3 courses and plentiful.

We didn't realize breakfast is set for 9am and had already booked a rental car for 9am which meant leaving early. Brian and Linda changed breakfast to 8:30am to try to help us get out early enough to make it to our car reservation.

A few comments based on how we interpreted the description of the B&B. We had the double room with 2 beds and were under the impression the bathroom was ensuite. However, the bathroom (just for us) was down the hall while the closest bathroom to us was used by people in the bedroom next to us. Not a big deal but a bit of a walk for people who don't want to wake up too much to 'tinkle' at night.

The comforter on 1 bed was dirty around the edges closest to the face (though there was a sheet between the comforter and the person). The white door to the room had dark finger print smudges on it.

Bathroom was clean and with plentiful supplies. Great little room with fridge and stocked with water, tea, snacks etc. Very thoughtful.

We chose this little b and b because it was close to the airport and we had had a long flight and wanted to stay somewhere local before picking our car up the following morning. Brian the owner kindly picked us up from the airport and took us back for our car the following morning, which was really appreciated and a really useful service offered. Our room was quite small and we had our own bathroom but it wasn’t en-suite. The breakfast was served in a small dining area and was very good. This accommodation was ideal for a single night before or after a long journey, you do stay in the owners home and I think there are three rooms available at the property. It is a different experience to staying at a large airport hotel and you are staying in close proximity to your fellow guests , but this place worked really well for us

It is in a purely residential area. The rooms are in the backyard, surrounding the swimming pool.

My room is of African style and in a dark tone. Because of low ceiling, the spotlights shined into my eyes. The owner has put in a lot of thought to decorate it. The electric fireplace is a bit noisy. The bathroom is really small (only allows 1 person to stand inside) and a bit cold. This room has a small private garden where you can sit outside.

The breakfast is really good, made fresh from fresh ingredients. The owner is really friendly and took a lot of time to talk to us during the breakfast.

Parking spots are limited. Make sure your car will not be blocked if you leave early in the morning.

We travelled as two couples and stayed at Stone Hedge for a night before leaving on our Alaskan cruise. Brian was a gracious host, picked us up at the airport and served us a lovely breakfast. Our rooms were comfortable and there were coffee and tea supplies available as well as some treats. Brian provides a chauffeuring service to the cruise port and dropped us off right where we could drop off our luggage. This made the start to the cruise so comfortable and easy. We highly recommend Stone Hedge.

Fantastic breakfast, great hosts, great place, good shuttle service. Be sure to ask about the pies! Loved the stone walls and stone walled shower/ bathroom area. I stayed in the "Safari room" and Brian, the host, shared all his family's history associated with that room. Had a feeling Linda was doing a lot of work to make my stay comfortable, in the background.

Brian will pick you up from the airport He charges 50 CAD to bring you to the cruise terminal. I do not think Brian will allow you to park your car for 6 days in his parking lot, I would not. He has no space for other cars than his.
