We were effected by delays with weather and had a long journey home. Tom at reception was amazing. A true asset to the hotel. He looked after us and was a welcome friendly experience. Nothing was too much trouble and I saw him assisting many guests in the same way. Thank You Tom!
Also need to mention restaurant staff, very friendly and helpful. Another guest had been very rude and they just continued to be polite and serve us.

Thank you for taking the time to share your 5 star experience! Wonderful to read you enjoyed your unexpected visit and the services from our team. I know Tom will be thrilled to read your comments. Our team was working hard to take care of travelers through the snow storm and warm-up that effect the airlines and a lot of cancelled flights and we appreciate the feedback. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to welcome you back on an expected visit to the area. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

We landed here after a direct flight from Melbourne to Vancouver at 9amish, desperate for an early check in after 15hrs flying and we got one! Thank you so much, Kai! Check in was friendly and the hotel was quiet, despite being located on main road. Our upgraded room was perfect for a hot shower with plentiful towels, quiet air conditioning and modern features like TV, WIFI etc. The bed was simply glorious - it felt like sleeping on a cloud! The lovely, crispy bed linen and beautiful bed ensured our jet lag hit the road, fast! After a recharge nap, later that afternoon we enjoyed the hotel's free shuttle service from the hotel to the nearby outlet mall (McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver) which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were dropped off and picked up by a friendly male driver, who chatted with us and made the 10min trip fly by. That side trip was the perfect afternoon stroll and fresh air hit that these long-haul travellers needed. On return from the Mall, we came back to the Hotel on their free shuttle and enjoyed an early dinner in the relaxed Hotel Lobby bar. We ended up parked in front of the American Basketball at Happy Hour with yummy nibbles, terrific service and a glass or two of recommended wine (insert smiley face). This hotel was everything we needed after a long flight and although it is not located 'in the heart of thing' we didn’t need it to be. It was our recharge stop off before flying onto Calgary the next day. The hotel offers great value for money, great service and very clean, quiet rooms.

Located in what could only be described as Vancouvers China town the only upside of this is the free shuttle to and from the airport and its close proximity to the airport.

If you are looking for Western Food only option is the hotel restaurant and that’s pricey and food was average.

Shopping center across the road is Korean/Japan only stores no standard shopping or supermarkets in close proximity.

Room was clean again wouldn’t say 4 star we had a view of a junk yard.

Beds were okay
Coffee and tea plus water provided
Toiletries provided

You can hear the planes taking off so if noise bothers you may want to look at a different hotel not so close.

Reception and airport shuttle drivers were very nice.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are happy to read you enjoyed the services from our team and overall enjoyed your stay. Vancouver and surrounding area is a very multicultural area and the area we are located in is known as the 'Golden Village'. Some of the best Asian shopping and dining is within steps of hotel and has often been reviewed as the best area this side of Hong Kong. The true 'China Town' is located just outside of downtown Vancouver. That being said, there are many North American style eateries and shopping in the area and we are always happy to assist with recommendations and how to get around the area when our Airport shuttle is not available for additional transportation. I do see your note about not being a '4 star'. We are aware many online travel agencies and review sites rate the hotel as 3.5 or 4 stars. Each website has their own rating system and without investigating how the particular website rates businesses, it can be confusing. In North American, the standard for hotel ratings is AAA and we are rated as a 3 Diamond Hotel. Lastly, the comment about a view of a junk yard is a very unique comment I haven't heard before. There are no junk yards in the area of the hotel and we do not sell our guest rooms with a particular view, as we are a city hotel. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to be able to welcome you back on a future trip and hopefully with some time to explore the local area here in Richmond. It is a great area to visit. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

LOVED LOVED The stay at Radisson. The beds were always made when we got back which added extra comfort and the sleep was just heavenly. The only downside due to covid, the pool and gym were closed and there was no food available.

We booked the radisson for a night and just as we were getting ready for bed I opened the top drawer of the dresser to put something in it. Once I opened it I saw some papers and a ziplock type bag, I looked closer and then saw that it was the leftovers of a covid test! I tried to call down to the front but no answer so I went down myself, I spoke to the manager to ask when was the last time someone stayed in our room because I was with my family and if the last person was recent We’d be waiting in line for a covid test. He said it was more than 2 weeks ago which tbh was the answer I was expecting because even if it was recent I can’t see him telling me so. This was very alarming to me and my family.

The other alarming thing is the covid protocol here, as I was waiting in line to speak to the manager there was 2 people in front of me and they were handed brown paper bags which was their meals because I guess they were quarantining at this hotel.
There was no special section for them to check in or wait but they did have the 2 elevators marked one for international guests and one for domestic which was impossible to follow because there was only one button for both so you didn’t get to pick and choose which one to get on. I just so happened to have the international one open and that was my only choice because the domestic elevator was on the 3rd floor.

These are scary times now and if the cleaning staff missed leftovers of a covid test when cleaning the room who knows what else they skipped out on.....

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and please accept our apologies for the oversite of the item left in the drawer of your guest room. Travelling during the pandemic certainly presents it's challenges and we appreciate your feedback so we know where we need to do better. Since the pandemic began, we have been hosting a variety of travelers as we have always done. The room and floor where you were staying is not designated for the Federal Government quarantine program and meal deliveries for those in quarantine are not done at the Front Desk. Although we do receive many food deliveries for guests on normal stays in the Hotel. Since the pandemic began over a year ago, we have enhanced cleaning procedures which includes our public areas and elevators and this is regularly checked on by Public Health to ensure we are doing everything possible to eliminate the spread of the Covid19 virus. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and once again, please accept our apologies for the oversight of the item left behind in the dresser drawer. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

With $300 a night, the quality of services and quality of the room do not worth it. The only good thing is the location of the hotel. The lobby is small and the worse is the parking. There are only about 20 parking spots. If there was no parking spot available when you get back at night after dinner. You have to park on the parking structure next door on the 3rd floor which is a long walk especially when you have more than one luggage.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent stay with us. We are disappointed you did not find value in the rate and suite that was reserved for your visit. We hope you took the time to speak with our team during your stay so we could do our best to ensure your satisfaction during your visit. The rate is reflective of the ever increasing rates we see here in Richmond, BC as well as the demand for accommodations as the hotel was in a sold out situation during your stay. We have over 40 parking spots out front of the hotel and we have some 15 minute parking spots for loading and unloading vehicles prior to parking complimentary, for the rest of your visit. Our main parking is in the President Plaza Parkade, which considering our snowy and wet weather recently, is a great place to park so one does not have to get wet, or clean snow off of their car prior to driving. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we hope to welcome you back on a future visit so we may be able to exceed your expectations. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

Due to Covid travel restrictions and bad weather, I stayed one night before and after my flight in and out of Vancouver. The Radisson was a perfect place to break the journey.
I love that the hotel is non smoking, so there were no lingering odours. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.
On my return flight I had extra baggage which was stored for me while I returned to the airport the next morning via courtesy shuttle to retrieve my car from the YVR long term parking. It was too much for me to manage on the night I arrived, so breaking the journey at the Radisson made things much more manageable and less stressful. Free wifi and a checkout time of 12 noon was perfect for getting breakfast, fitting in a work meeting and making the extra trip out to the airport.
I enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Mozza - the server was helpful and kind.
Thank you to everyone who made this experience such a good one for me at a difficult time!

This hotel was the perfect choice for a one night stay after a late night arrival into Vancouver airport. It was clean, quiet, friendly, and comfortable. What we loved the most were the incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. We wished the late night menu had better options, especially for our vegetarian and gluten free needs. Unfortunatly because it was 1:00 am and we were exhausted after a 71/2 hour flight,we ended up going to bed hungry. Therefore I would definitely stay here again, but if it were another late night arrival, I might search for a property with more food options for our needs

Our night room service menu does have a few options on it that are gluten free and vegetarian, and we are sorry these did not meet your needs. As the kitchen is closed overnight, it is a challenge to meet special dietary needs, but I know our Chef will be interested in your comments and if it is possible, we will work something into the menu for future. We stayed in this location two nights, first night the room had mold on the bathtub, ripped bed sheets and the train passing by every hour or so during the night, we didn’t complain as we got there exhausted but definitely it was scary enough as during COVID I knew this hotel was not properly cleaned.

For the second night we asked for different room far from the train tracks and they accommodated. Cleaning was also better but so disappointed on how poorly run this location is. Please don’t spend you hard earned canadian money here!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay with a young baby during an EnvCda heat warning. Nice pool & gym facilities - not fancy but clean 👍🏻. Included breakfast was good: fruits, dairy, cold cereal, nuts & seeds, pastries offered; hot table - scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage. Waffles or toast. Many thanks to Tom at front desk & to all staff!

We booked online thru directly thru hotel website. We missed the BC resident’s deal but the AAA/CAA deal we did get ($332.10/per night for a double Queen room) covered free surface parking, and the breakfast buffet for 2 each morning. The lobby bar was pleasant and staff were bar/wait staff very helpful preparing drinks for us to take to our room. Baby fold up play&pack delivered as pre-requested, free of charge.
