Now we know exactly what "worm welcome" means. We arrived at the 24th of December and felt like home after the minutes. Wonderful breakfast, the best we had in all B&Bs on our 21 day trip to NZ, lovely people, sweet dog, terrific room and view, and perfectly located to visit Auckland and Devenport. We will recommned this B&B to...

Our stay at the Peace and Plenty in Devonport was wonderful! We arrived late on Christmas evening and host Judy had arranged an airport pick-up and check-in, along with a surprise complimentary bottle of bubbles to celebrate! The architecture of this lovely home is a treat....as were the big breakfasts (a must for my husband). Judy was around to greet...

We stayed 2 nights here on our way back to UK after 5 weeks in NZ. We had the Windsor Room and it was very large and extremely comfortable with complimentary decanters of sherry and port on its mantelpiece. The house is situated on the edge of a small park which in turn overlooks the sea and it's a Victorian...

Based on everyone else's reviews, there was no other choice except Peace & Plenty as our first night of a 2.5 week trip through NZ. This was a cozy, warm B&B with friendly host Judy who talked to us of her own world travels during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order in the morning and we got...

We had been travelling around the North Island for a week and we arrived to be greeted by the owner Judith and her lovely dog Stanley and we felt like we had stepped back in time to a beautiful period English home. Judith made us feel at home immediately and took us up to our second floor gorgeously kept room...

Yes, we found this accommodation to be the perfect start for our five week adventure in New Zealand. Close enough to Auckland by ferry, but staying in Devonport gives you that small town friendly feel that is so lacking in many places in the world, especially in cookie cutter America. We really enjoyed it. Judy is a wonderful hostess and...

Whole house is extremely comfortable and opulently furnished, with flair and style. My boyfriend surprised me with a romantic weekend away and chose The Peace and Plenty for our little getaway. We stayed in the Windsor room and it was amazing. From Judy's and Stanley's friendly welcome and amazing breakfast to luscious beds and old world bath tub, I couldn't have asked for more. It is perfectly situated for sightseeing ….. that...

We were very happy with the accomodations and Judith is a fantastic hostess. We stayed in the garden room which provided our own entrance through the garden. The food was great, Stanley was funny, and the garden beautiful. Access to the ferry is very nice and the town has nice restaurants and a nice quiet atmosphere. Be sure to allow...
