Detailed Reviews
We tried to book through the local council but was informed of a first in best dressed policy. We arrived at 4pm to green well maintained sites and being the only guests we selected a site, set up, then went to the RSL who is the agent for the park. Paid a very modest fee and recieved a code for the electronic digital screened amenities. We rehydtrated at the friendly RSL and walked 50 metres back to the park to find the ammenities were immaculate and very new in a transportable elevated style building. An absolute find that we will use again during interstate holidays.

What a great park. After checking in at the ex-servicemen's club for one night, seniors rate, we showered in the modern near new amenities. A short 2 min walk to the club for tea. The food was delicious. The barman was friendly. We will be staying again.

Lovely little park with grassed sites with water and powered and unpowered sites. Large drive-through sites also available. Facilities were modern and clean. Very reasonably priced. Easy walk to town. Book either through council or the local RSL.

Some would be putt off by this being a small (16 sites) council parking space in a town of 350. There is no fence for instance. Don't be. Great amenities that are scrupulously clean. Flat sites, power and water. Far enough from the main road to provide a quieter night than being at a road side stop. Slightly (maybe by a few dollars) over priced but seniors discount available. Pick your site and then take the short walk to the RSL to pick up your amenities key and pay.

Stayed for the night & it was brilliant. Facilities are faultless. Great water pressure in the showers & both showers and toilets spotless. Really quiet. Congratulations to the council for these facilities.

Just an overnight stop on our way from Adelaide to QLD, but what a great little park! The amenities block looks brand new and the showers are terrific. Just pick your own spot and pay at the shire office, or if that is closed, at the RSL club. A little beauty!

Spotless amenities and large sites just off the road. Only $27 but a 10% seniors discount so amazing price too. Picked up the key after 4.15 from the nearby RSL and stopped for a drink . Shops and pub nearby too.

Clean and neat stopover. Good hot showers. Collect the key and pay at the shire office during weekday business hours 9 - 4:15. Alternatively from the RSL club Frid/Sat/Sun. Not sure of the protocol if you arrive after hours as the facilities are locked.
