We spent 6 days in La Brouquere in late September when many campsites are closed and those that are still open have reduced level of service, but not here. Sonia and Wouter were great hosts and their attention to detail was impeccable. Great showers - hot, powerful, clean and spacious (2 complete units with loo, basin and washbasin) plus separate...

All the previous reviews of this super adult only campsite are true so I won't bore you with any more. We spent a week with Sonja and Wouter in August and it was sheer bliss. They truly cater for your every need and are the perfect hosts. One thing I will add is a big thanks guys and hope to...

What a great find this was! Beautifully situated overlooking a wooded valley, surrounded by vineyards and wheat fields with nothing to disturb the peace other than cicadas and the calls of the woodpeckers. Just 10 adult-only pitches, all of a good size and separated by hedges, with electricity and water points nearby. Lovely clean and spacious shower rooms and a...

A very picturesque location in amongst the farmland. We had a motorhome and provided a lovely level spot with its own power and shared water tap. Sites are big and grassy with your own umbrella, overlooking the vines. Bathrooms are big and airy, providing toilet, sink and shower in one room. Our hosts were friendly (as was their cat!). There...

What a great place to spend a couple of weeks camping. Sonja and Wouter were the perfect hosts, their command of English was great. The site has only a few pitches which was really why we picked it, being a couple who like smaller campsites. The shower block and dishwashing area were extremely clean and tidy and the whole campsite...

This was our first visit to Gascony and this was the perfect campsite for our stay. The site is set amongst rolling countryside and vines and the view from our (and all) pitches was impressive. The facilities are spotless and the bathrooms are more what you would expect from an en suite hotel room. Sonia and Wouter were always friendly...

Nice location with view over surrounding countryside, amongst the vineyards. Extremely quiet site (except for the occasional agricultural vehicle). Easy cycle into town, with plenty of quiet roads around (some hills) - good maps of 2 possible routes provided by camp site. Maybe 20-30 minutes walk into town plus local marked walking routes which can take you past the beautiful...
