We are waiting for our flight out of Montego Bay, and we already want to go back. It was our first time at Golden Clouds, and we would definitely stay there again. The scenery and grounds are spectacular, a very special part of the world....More
This is a real gem of the island! I've traveled the world and there is nothing like it. Lots of smaller hotels call themselves a "boutique" but Golden Clouds truly deserves to be in that category. This place has a unique feel of being a...More

The beach is very small with an opening to the open water that a kayak can come through. One can walk through that water-it is very shallow- to get to the other "beach" where the chairs are. This is just sand and looks out to the open water. There are 3 ways with steps to the water to get into the water to snorkel or swim. On the other side of the house, is another staircase to get down to the "beach" with the chairs. So, this is not a beach for walking. You would have to go elsewhere on the island. (We did not go to another beach). It is perfect for snorkeling, swimming, or lying on one of the lounge chairs, or for little kids to play in the shallow water and sand. Hope this helps.
