Lovely little gastro pub with superb atmosphere and fantastic local, warm feel. Menu was quite fussy for a pub, a bit confused maybe. But on the whole the food was pretty good. We did however have our children with us and although they were welcomed...More

Thank you for your thoughts. Not sure when you ate with us but we always have two children's menus (one for toddlers and one for slightly older children) for every service except Sunday lunch when most of our guests are very happy for their children...More

Delighted you had a good time with us. Thank you for your thoughts on children's menus (see review above) which seem to chime with the open welcome for families that we try to deliver.

I'm sorry things weren't quite right for you this time. Consistency is terribly important to us but the reality is just occasionally something can be a little off on a particular evening. We hope that things will be perfect for you should you return in...More

Great friendly warm welcome. Lovely front of house staff. The food was mixed. Some courses excelled others disappointed. The risotto was brill. The ribs tasty but a little tough. The Sewin was also good. The steak tasty but also less than tender. Altogether a mixed...More
