For small city like this, your choice of hotel to stay my be limited. River Resort &Spa is on the main road with good surrounding land scape. Room is clean equip with good amenities. The only disappointed thing for me is the bath room, which had shower put in a very tight corner of the bath room with no shower... More

Currently laid in bed at the river resort. It's basic but clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, not sure if they speak English as i speak Thai. Free wifi which works well enough for me to watch a movie. Swimming pool is more a sort of chill out pool as you can't swim in it really. We are using... More

This was the first place Pat and I stayed at during our Sakaeo cycling trip . After reading the reviews on tripadvisor we had expected to pay max. 500 baht a night per room . Instead we ended up having to pay 1000 baht for a so-called luxury room ,which we reckoned was just a standard room . The complimentary... More

Stayed here for 1 night as part of a cycling tour. Its a bit basic but it was fine. The eating area lends itself to groups and the staff were friendly. Probably not so attractive for singles or couples. Quite close to bust main road so not a lot to do nearby, not noisy though as rooms are away from... More

We stayed at the "River Resort & Spa" 2-3 days as our base to visit the Sa Kaeo province. Room were clean and we slept well. The resort is close to the main road of Sa Kaeo, but we did hear anything at night. Breakfast is basic. We had lunch/dinner outside the hotel. You need your own transportation to get... More

Basic nice very low cost accommodation close to the town center but still away enough so its quite a peaceful. Rooms are a little bit dated, but large and clean with a kitchenette, fridge, large screen TV and a comfortable bed and a separate bathroom, Great big swimming pool on the hotel grounds and a good safe car park. Family... More

Over the recent 4 day long weekend in Thailand, we decided to drive to the North-East of Thailand towards the Cambodian border. We stayed at this hotel where the staff were friendly. I had to work in the evening and I found the wifi service very good. In the evening, we found the service and the food good. The morning... More

Well-maintained hotel in Sa Kaeo. Above-average room for 1,050THB in February 2014. Free Cambodian-style breakfast. Probably the best hotel in the area. I've stayed here on two separate occasions, and both times, no problems. Easily recommend.

A pleasant hotel which is reasonable value for money. We stayed for one night. The bedroom was very decent, and a fair size. Some might have a problem with the bed- it was so firm as to be close to laying on wood. I actually slept well on it, but be warned. The en-suite was dark, and a very basic... More
