We stayed at Wanderer’s Village the night before we travelled to Hinchinbrook. We stayed on one of the campsites which was very spacious and ideal for camping. The toilets and showers were by far the cleanest we have ever used at any caravan park/campground and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. We would most definitely return if we are ever up in Lucinda again and would highly recommend anybody travelling to Lucinda or Hinchinbrook to stay here!!

It's was all good for you to have time off now that you are fully booked and put me and my partner down to my friend after we left about our kelpie that was the best behaved dog then told her that I; not aloud to return you gutless person my number is on the check in but hay if you have a lap dog's you need to stay in your property that you manage Tanya to see what is going on with the lap dog owners and stop and think about the real problems EG: toilets/shower block not clean bin's full.... I could go I on !!!!

Wanderers has excellent amenities, some of the best we have ever used, came in handy as this was a very busy, popular park. Has decent sized caravan sites. Great park across the road for kids to play at.

What a fabulous caravan park , 27 kilometres from Ingham! The grounds are superb and very clean. We stayed in a “ villa” which was very clean and basic. Tania ( reception) was a delight!! Sooo helpful. Swimming pool looked great ( a little cold for us in June) We were quite sad saying “ goodbye “. I would highly recommend this caravan park!

I knew when I stepped into reception that our room was going to be great. Very friendly staff....well presented and beautifully clean room with everything you need. The pool looked amazing although we didn’t get to use it due to the weather not being kind to us. We will definitely be back with some more time to spend enjoying the parks ammenities.

Fabulous pool with a large shaded deck with 2 free BBQs and tables for guests. We stayed in a cabin which was close to the pool and surrounded by grass and garden. The cabin was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Beware there are a lot of sand flies in Lucinda, particularly at dusk and when there is no wind. Now we know but only after we were eaten alive. The local pub is within walking distance and did a great meal.

The Campground itself is a busy one, with fishing surrounds being one of the main attractions. We don’t fish but thought we would like to camp at Lucinda and we were pleased we did. The grounds are really clean, the bathrooms are very modern., very large and extremely clean. The staff help each new arrival move onto their allotted space which is rare, but very useful as the grounds can be full with large boats, vans, camper trailers etc. The guys that work there are extremely helpful and great blokes, nothing was too much trouble. The pool is located at the front of the park and was always clean and the grass surrounds green and well maintained. Great spot to travel from, ie waterfalls, national parks, Ingham is close (20 minute drive) so good for grocery supply, shops etc. Walking distance (about 2 mins) to a great pub with and a wide variety of food and really friendly staff. There is also a fenced off pool area that can be used by the public. Huge amount of seating areas. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great park with excellent and clean amenities too. It is a short walk to the beach where you can see the looong (5.7km) conveyor to the ship sugar loading terminal. The beach is lovely to walk along and there are plentu of shells to collect.

Was a great place to stay. Used this place as a holding ground before going to Hinchenbrooke Island. People couldn’t have been any more helpful. We were able leave camper at site while on Island. Great facilities, pool and peaceful.
