We have been in el Jallo in our first trip to Lanzarote. The place, the house, the breakfast (hot bread, local cheese, jam, coffee...) and suite views were amazing; but best were Federico and Chiara who had taken time each morning to suggest us the best places and restaurants to visit in the island while we were sharing a nice cup...

I almost don't want to write this review in order to keep this gem to myself but that would be unfair...Federico and Chiara (and little Valentina) run a wonderful, warm B&B within spitting distance of the stunning Timfanaya National Park. Make sure you follow the lane around to the El Jallo car park - Google maps dumped us at the...

We have spent one pleasant week at El Jallo in July 2016. The B&B is very nice and clean. It is located in a central area of the island, that it's been perfect for a young couple that preferred to visit different areas and stay in a quiet place, far from the nightlife. We used to enjoy a tasty breakfast...

El Jallo is a place where you feel at home. Federico, Chiara and baby Valentina do welcome you as friends: they make you Lanzarote as they are in love with the Island. El Jallo is an ancient house they have renovated with style and real passion: each single piece of furniture has been selected with care and you do "feel"...

Could not get an answer on arrival even though we had said what time we would be coming. Resorted to phoning only to find they were inside! Breakfast can only be taken at 9.30 which we found restricting and have never come across anywhere else. We had no means to make a hot beverage as advertised and when we queried...

Hola Gilian! it is difficult to answer your review, is always sad when somebody that spent time with us, gets back dissapointed. As we do our best for our clients to enjoy the island to the fullest. We invest a lot of time giving advises, tips and hints, something nobody else does. Actually that is the reason why breakfast is...

I wouldn't imagine a better place to stay in Lanzarote. Beds are extremely comfortable and the decoration and style of the place is wonderful. Federico and Chiare, who host el Jallo, are a lovely couple, laid back and very attentive, that make you feel at home. The breakfast takes place around a table with other guests, which turned out to...

Federico and Chiara run El Jallo like a home from home. we spent a very relaxed and peaceful week there. The rooms are basic but comfortable especially the beds. Make sure to bring your own shampoo/ shower gel! There is a very comfortable lounge with lots of books. Outside there is a pretty Lanazarote style garden with a tiny plunge...

My son and I spent a wonderful week at El Jallo gaining strength after a close bereavement. Federico and Ciara were very welcoming and Federico spent a lot of time discussing restaurants and possible trips with us. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed (including a small fridge). The lounge had interesting art work and there was a...

Tucked away amdist the magic of Lanzarote, I was lucky to be lead to the very special, el Jallo. Here I found a stillness that I didn't even know existed (coming from NYC, I had forgotten was stillness was). And not silence - not at all - el Jallo is very much alive with the sounds of the wind, and...
