Highly recommended *** beautiful Cottages with all the amenities available including the luxury of meeting and feeding the Lamas and Goats. We could not have asked for anything better, the wonderful meet and greet through email and SMS *** very professional service provided. Thank you very much for our lovely stay and experience!

To begin with, the booking was easy, communication from the owner was clear and timely. The cottage was clean and very well presented. With the location and, I expect, the clientele being couples, I would have liked to see a champagne stopper and glasses supplied. There was only instant coffee, no plunger or ground coffee. They may seem like little things but it shows that the hosts have thought about the potential needs of their guests. When we stayed, the tank water had a little funky smell, but that may have been due to the season and not normal. The location was good, the view across the valley from the balcony was nice, and again, the cabin was clean and well presented, so thank you. I do struggle to appreciate having to pay for the accommodation, and then wash up or be fined extra. I don't think you can have it both ways, but others may disagree.…

Hi Sarah Firstly I would like to say that the one message we sent was not at all hostile and held no abusive language or remarks within it so when you mention "messages" that is a false and misleading comment . I don't know why you are mentioning police as we sent one message to you in the morning about the state of the cottage and that it was disappointing, you replied and that is it. So we are a little confused about that remark. Clearly there is no harassment or abuse going on, we didn't mention anything about children either so again that is defamatory and misleading comments. Secondly we had every right to message you as the property was left in a terrible state, stickers stuck to the polished floors which luckily did not cause damage, chips and food scattered everywhere on the floors and surfaces, a pillow outside left soaking in the rain, the bin stuffed with so much rubbish to the point that it was overflowing, food smeared and crushed into several corners of the cottage that had hardened and had to be scrubbed with force to be removed, dirt and grime all over the surfaces and flooring, the list goes on...as mentioned in the only message we sent it usually takes 37 minutes to clean one of our properties after a guest checks out, it took 2hrs to clean the one you were in. Very rarely we contact a guest checking out because generally people clean up after themselves and show respect to the property they are staying in. This was not the case here. We have photos and of course the message we sent you that clearly shows no abuse whatsoever to back up what we are talking about in this reply. If you continue to harass us and post this defamatory and misleading review on accommodation websites we will be taking legal action against you under the defamation act. All the best Cam

Our cabin Vista was noisy, the airconditioner did not work. The only cooking was a George Foreman indoor outdoor grill. But there was no extension cord to cook on the veranda. There was no signage to where to put rubbish whenyou leave. There was a lot missing from cabin for example no oil for cooking, no bathrobes no extension cord for the cooker. The whole cabin feels dated.

Hi Jo-anne Thank you for the review. We would have liked for you to contact us during your stay so that we could have addressed the things raised in your review. The guest after you let us know about the air conditioner and it is currently being replaced. All of the units in the cottages have recently been serviced. The george foremann is provided as per advertised on our website. We have extension cords available, however do not leave them within the cottages as things are regularly taken. There are 4 large bins at the front of the property where guests are welcome to leave their rubbish as they pass on the way out. There is certainly cooking spray in the cottage, it is kept under the sink so perhaps you missed it. We only provide bathrobes for our spa cottage. It is a shame you felt the cottages are dated, this is certainly not the feedback we get from majority of our guests. All the best Dayboro Cottages

I have been meaning to visit this place for some time now, only because we happened to drive by on a road trip we spontaneously booked a one night stay in a spa suite. From the moment we walked in the door , the views, the cleanliness and facilities we felt at home. Watching the world go by was awesome . Never saw the llamas but some goats and chickens. We spent the last 2 days exploring the National Parks surrounding Dayboro, while wet - the cabin had an attached carport that made accessing the villa quite easy. Everything was very nice , there were a few small bits that required attention - but not major. The view from the deck is amazing with all the wildlife just there in front of you. The sweeping hills and lush undergrowth are very nice. The TV was a little small and our shower was a small cnr unit that required careful use so not the bang ones arms. There is room for a bigger shower - perhaps next update to the unit. The electric BBQ was very good - but could only be used indoors - no range hood in mini kitchen. Highly recommend the butcher in Dayboro for excellent tasty meats - IGA just next door to butcher to pick up small goods to go with the meat. The pub has an excellent bottle shop to top up on other essentials to high lite the meat products. Highly recommend this facility for closeness to Dayboro and surrounding areas. …

What an amazing place!! A wonderful, peaceful retreat !! How great it was to arrive at such a lovely cottage that was spotless, modern and very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, Loved the information folder, very helpful. Relaxing on the deck looking at the picturesque view, soaking up the country atmosphere was the perfect break ! We will definitely be back. Had the most wonderful stay at beautiful Dayboro cottages and brilliant helpful Courtney When we asked for anything they were there to help . It made our daughters wedding at Glengariff across the road so much easier ! Lovely views comfy bed and peaceful surroundings ! Couldn’t have wished for anything more 😊 Thankyou again

The location was nice and secluded. When we got to the front desk, the woman gave us an upgrade which was AMAZING! Llamas are just outside the cottage, the view from the back deck was breathtaking! Interior was beautiful! Plenty of amenities, and I much loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was in bulk :) extra towels etc.. Comfy king bed with air con above us, nice spacious deck with table and chairs, with a BBQ! Cottage also came with a washing machine and dryer which we highly appreciated! We enjoyed our stay so much that we were sad to leave, but look forward to coming back.
